does anyone get ezdrummer2 to come up in protools instrument list? first of all my ezdrummer2 only works as a stand alone software. also after the installation their is no dll file found. so i cant even convert it to rtas . im runing a legit copy of pt.8 with the update to 8.05 . anyone has this issue or know what might be the problem? any feedback is appreciated .
Thanks.

Hi there.

Is this on mac or PC? If mac, I can't really help, but I hope someone can.

Ok. I believe EZ Drummer could have installed a plugin file in any of many folders. Try finding it in these folders:

C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Toontrack

C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugIns

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack

C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins

Or simply do a search on your C drive for "ezdrummer.dll". If you find it try that one. It is recommended that you make a copy of the current dll file, just in case as backup.

Hey, do you have the FXPansion converter? That might be the problem with finding the .dll

For some reason, after I installed the vst to rtas converter, a lot of VST installers want to use that as my default folder. It's not on this computer, so I can't be 100 percent on the location right now, but I'm pretty sure it's something like this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\FXPansion\VST to RTAS Converter

I bet if you look there you'll find a bunch of stranded .dlls
