To save yourself a great deal of aggravation and frustration don't bother with trying to re-authorize before/after every update/upgrade. Make certain all the updates are applied FIRST to bring all the spectra components up to current versions. THEN go ahead and authorize that final version. If you follow the R2R instructions to the letter you should have everything running in no time.

Yeah. If you're building a brand new install, just install all your full cores, then the updates and upgrades bringing everything to the most current versions you can find. Once you have completed all the installing of bits then worry about authorizing the stuff. In fact the last time I upgraded all my spectra stuff I just applied the updates/grades to bring everything to current versions and never even looked at re-authorization at all. Everything just worked.

As far as the actual authorization goes, the R2R instructions tell you everything you need to know. Just make certain you read it all and do not skip any steps.

 

When you say update, you can actually apply the update through the program or you have to download up to date versions seperately?

 

For legit: you download them. The plugin just links you to the update page on their website.

For cracked version, you have to download them but not from their site.

 

There are updates/code patches you need to DL (from the release teams, e.g. R2R, V.R., etc) periodically - ones that update the core versions of the apps, updates to the sound libraries, and sound sources. They are all separate self-contained installers that you run against your current installations. You'll need to gather these all up and apply them (in order). Shouldn't be too many of them if your initial install was already close to being current.

hi, just incase its useful to anyone,i havent updated omnisphere in a while.but when i do i normally have to authorise using a different DAW.
cubase is my DAW, but it kept comming up needed authorised,but when i opened in fl studio i was able to do the authorisation then open in cubase all authorised.

 

You can authorize any plugin that you can in your DAW, inside BlueCat's Patchwork standalone version. It is helpful if you keep your DAW firewalled, want to rule out your DAW as a problem, or if you have a session open and don't want to close it. Your daw probably won't see the plugin until you close/reopen it, if you can't force a scan manually.

Select a product you want to activate.

Click "Generate" in the keygen. License will be generated.
Copy the license from keygen.
Click "PASTE" in the software.
Click "CONTINUE" in the software.
Done, restart the application.

these flags are used to check additional activation info.
You can check what additional product license is included in our keygen.
Just select a product and click "About".

In our former works (and other groups too!),
we set full 16 capable flgas to activate,
But now, Spectrasonics checks the flags to trigger the timebomb.
We need to care that.
When they release new product, you need to wait the keygen update.

If you see ch%3D in your url then copy the code after this bit and replace any %25 with just % (%25 becomes % / %2525 becomes %25)

If you are still stuck jim, please paste the entire URL in here - the code you pasted looks wrong - it has spaces and ?=6 . Not the format I have seen before.

I can't login to the authorisation browser (so can't see this URL that you are referring to) because i never made an account with Spectrasonics, the crack was remotely installed for me. Attached is a screenshot of the problem i am facing, if it makes it any easier. Hopefully is solveable!!

 

Yup, step 2... the page that opens - ignore the screen and grab the URL from the address bar. It should be a long one that ends with the challenge code.

Thanks, however this link (at step 2) doesn't open directly from my DAW, so i have to copy and paste into browser then it takes me to spectrasonics login page (i.e meaning that it doesn't provide me with a long url that includes challenge code etc).

What do you mean by the standalone?

 

I just did a fresh install of Omnisphere on a new pc. If you follow the instructions under "AUTHORIZATION" step by step, it will work. I didnt install with the standalone. Doing it offline, as instructed, the website url opens automatically to an error page which you copy the code from the address bar, as instructed. It is a quick and easy installation and works without any issues. If it doesn't work for you, as the instructions note, you did it wrong.

 

Standalone = EXE file, not the VST plugin.

Use the standalone for registering and installing new soundbanks, some DAWs doesn't like when Omnisphere takes several minutes (up to an hour on old computers) to update the index files.
