Watched it, keys work fine now. You have an oracle of just about all human knowledge (plus a lot of crap)in the internet. Try not to use it to watch cat videos.

I guess you have tried to unzip/unrar a folder which contained yet more rar/zipped files, you then need to locate the first of these and then unrar/unzip the install folder/files, then you can install. Simples

 

i cant do it im seriosly pulling my hair out over this guys i just cant do it. iv looked on youtube theres no vids that are the same as what im trying to do. if someone does someone uploads a vid on how to unzip the korg legacy m1 i will paypal them $20

 

How do you not know how to unzip ? I don't mean to sound like a dick but you literally just have to click extract and it's done, I don't get it. If you get an error message your file is probably corrupt and you need to download them again.
Install Winrar, if you can't figure out Winrar then I don't know what to tell you... right click, "extract here", done. Pretty sure my dog could do it.

done it finally argh jeez wadda ballache my computer just has files everywhere now

 

Click "extract in a folder" then, all your files will be inside that folder

 

1) install winrar

2) goto download folder and select all M1 rar files / right click - select unrar here

3) you will now have another set of rar files but the names are slightly different

4) as no 2) but select the new rar files / right click -select unrar here

5) you should now have an OSX folder and a WIN folder, a keygen executable, and an nfo file (air) right click "air" file and and select "open with notepad", follow instructions on how to install,

6) if you are still having problems, start another hobby, try Lego

 

Sometimes they put a rarfile which contains another more than one zipfiles. You then must select all zipfiles then rightclick on them and extract. Then its possible that you get another bunch of rarfiles mostly numerized. then click the one with ending ".rar" not the ones with numbers. and extract. Sometimes the releasers pack them into hundert packs which contain again hunderts of other packfiles (some sort of paranoia or s.th.).

 

1. trash your PC
2. buy a Mac
3. Youre done !

I don't have any problems with this stuff, but I can totally see why some people do. It's NOT that intuitive. In fact, it's kinda nerdy and techie to handle some files.

Someday, someone will simplify these processes (probably Apple) and we won't have to worry about data compression anymore.

In case you have s/thing split in zip files, SELECT THEM ALL and extract - it seems that is your problem. In case of rars, selecting any of them and extracting will do.

There is nothing techie about extracting files unless it's some crazy format and even then all it takes is a search.

 

Maybe he was multi selecting EVERYTHING, like the .sfv and nfo files?

I think we all remember at least one point in our computer life where the simplest bloody action took our minds to near self destruct.
