    Thanks.

    If the same version of 7th heaven is being used, what about bug fixes or updates to V12 of Pro Tools?

    If there is an anomaly between your computers that is allowing one to work as meant to be and one not, it makes sense to go through it piece by piece until the anomaly is found.

    I just found this has worked for some people:-

    'If rescanning doesn't work, try trashing Pro Tools preferences. This forces Pro Tools to rescan all plugins on the next launch.'

    Yeah I've trashed prefs a ton of times already, to force a heavy rescan of the plugins.

    No luck

    One thing to make sure of.
    When using REVO uninstaller, make sure to INSTALL the product USING REVO.
    That allows it to monitor the install, and therefore best chance for thorough cleanup.
    Then, of course look at the leftovers it finds and allow it to delete those as you will.

    Of course with R2R it's also been possible to extract the installer and look at all the files and the install script, allowing one to figure out what files are being placed in what locations, but REVO will be doing that for you.

    Surely the version of Seventh Heaven you bought legit also installs other plugin formats than just AAX. You could install Bluecat Audio Patchwork and load a VST format of the plugin. That way you are actually going to that plugin file, and force loading it into your DAW.

    You will know right away if there is going to be a problem with incompatibility with the new version. You will not be relying on your DAW to select whatever version it has scanned. If you do not already have Patchwork in Protools, you could just as easily check this in a secondary DAW like REAPER which cannot load AAX plugins anyway.

    1. Clean the Registry
    Search for keys containing LiquidSonics, Seventh Heaven, or R2R. Common locations include:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LiquidSonics
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\LiquidSonics
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\LiquidSonics (for 32-bit apps on 64-bit systems)

    2. Clear Pro Tools Plugin Cache
    Pro Tools caches plugin data, which may still reference the R2R version:
    Navigate to: C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools
    Delete the Plug-In Settings folder and any files like InstalledAAXPlugIns or PlugInCache.
    This forces Pro Tools to rescan all plugins on the next launch.

    3. Reinstall the Legitimate Seventh Heaven Plugin

    4. Rescan Plugins in Pro Tools

    Launch Pro Tools and let it rescan plugins.
    If the plugin still doesn’t appear, go to Setup > Preferences > Plug-Ins in Pro Tools and ensure the correct plugin paths are set.
    Check the Plug-In Menu Organization (in Pro Tools) to ensure Seventh Heaven isn’t hidden or miscategorized (e.g., under “Other” or “Inactive”).

    That seems like a good idea, but installing something with REVO requires the PRO version it seems..
    I might be mistaken but I cant seem to figure out how to install something with REVO

    Yes as I mentioned before, I can run the VST3 version with BC Patchworks through my pro tools, it opens the plugin fine and it runs like that.
    But because I paid for the plugin, I would like to just be able to use the AAX, because patchwork slows down my work process.

    Before you contact LiquidSonics support, www.liquidsonics.com/contact/
    Clear your Pro Tools plugin cache and settings, restart, and reinstall the plugins using the installer and try again.
    Have you also installed AAX? I know it's a stupid question, but sometimes you miss something!

    How can I rescan my AAX plugins in Pro Tools?
    To rescan your AAX plugins in Pro Tools, you need to delete the plugin settings and then restart Pro Tools. This process forces the program to rescan all plugins and create new settings files for them.

    For Windows:
    1. Close Pro Tools: Make sure Pro Tools is completely closed.
    2. Navigate to the plugin settings directory:
    - For Pro Tools 10: Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\DAE Prefs
    - For Pro Tools 11 and higher: \Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools
    3. Delete the "InstalledAAXPlugins" file: This file contains your plugin settings.
    4. Restart Pro Tools: The program will now scan all plugins again and create new settings files.

    1. Installation and License Activation
    To install Seventh Heaven Professional an Intel Mac or Windows PC is required. 64-bit DAWs with 8
    GB and above are required. Approximately 10 GB of free disk space is required for a full install, and a
    minimum of 4 GB for a partial install containing around one third of the presets.
    To use the plug-in in multi-channel modes 32 GB of RAM is recommended with a modern
    specification 8-core or above i7/i9/Xeon or Ryzeb/Threadripper CPU.
    If you require 32-bit support please visit the legacy software archive.

    iLok License Manager
    Before installing the plug-ins, install the iLok License Manager (http://www.ilok.com), then redeem
    your Seventh Heaven Professional activation code to your iLok account. Then drag this license on to
    your iLok or local authorisation location. Alternatively open a cloud session from the license manager
    file menu (a continuous network connection is be required to use iLok Cloud).

    Description of the Installers
    The required data files are split over three installers:
    1. Required - The plug-ins installer which contains:
    a. All 32-bit and 64-bit plug-ins in the following formats:
    i. AAX;
    ii. Audio Unit (Mac only);
    iii. VST 2.4;
    iv. VST3;
    b. Starter presets – a maximum of 8 presets from each of 12 banks split across all 3
    algorithm variants (approximately 3.5 GB);
    c. Various supporting files required for the plug-ins to function;
    2. Optional - v1 Presets Expansion containing the remaining 106 algorithm version 1 presets
    available on the M7 (approximately 2.5 GB);

    3. Optional - v2 Presets Expansion containing the remaining 38 algorithm version 2 presets
    (approximately 4 GB - note that due to additional modulation inherent in the v2 presets these
    files are somewhat larger).

    Please note that Seventh Heaven cannot use preset data files from Seventh Heaven Professional and
    vice versa as the data content / formats required by the two plug-ins are not identical.
    All nonlinear algorithm presets are installed by the first installer

    The realtime monitoring during installation being suggested that you use is only in the "pro" version. This is the likely reason for your result with it, because that program gets rid of everything even when other programs like iobit uninstaller miss files.

    From reading everything that you've already tried, I think it's time to contact Liquid Sonic's support. You have with 99.9% certainty already removed every single trace of the cracked version, so it can't be that.

    I don't think you can get your money back if they can't help you either, because they have a 14-day free trial for the purpose of being able to try if the software works on your machine before you buy it. They should have some more insights into what might be causing the problem though.

    Btw: have you checked so that you don't have Liquid Sonics-related websites blocked in your host file, or any other network related things like having Pro Tools blocked in your firewall etc?

    I see. Didn't catch that he was running a cracked PT. Couldn't he just say that he's running PT 12 because he hasn't had any reason to buy a license for a newer version? IIRC, AudioUtopia's PT12 should work with legit AAX plugins, right?

    I haven't tried Revo but I use 'Total Uninstaller' - it does all the registry, rogue folders and left over files without issues.

    Before you do anything more before reinstalling (after uninstall) - You can download Ultra search free
    https://www.jam-software.com/ultrasearch.
    If Seventh Heaven is the only Liquidsonics product you own... search 'Liquidsonics' and manually delete everything associated it finds as well as Seventh Heaven.

    Also - look in your ProgramData after uninstalling everything, and look in your Appdata Roaming & Local for anything remotely associated with it and manually delete if you do not wish to try anything else.
    There is also the less obvious of the Common files\VST3 folder to make sure it's not there anymore and any folder associated (Liquidsonics) - assuming the registry is already cleaned of it i.e.
    I hope that's of some use.

    From the results I have seen users have with this exact scenario, either expired demos/trials preventing re-installations or timebombed cracked software; Revo Unistaller Pro is usually the only thing that actually always works when all others fail. Aside from reinstalling Windows, of course.

    Any plugin developer tech support is going to tell you there is no problem with their AAX format plugin being scanned and visible in Protools. It's a simple testing process, since it is only one DAW host application. Either way, they would call it a Protools issue and want you on the latest version, or at least their minimum required and supported version. When you tell them it is 12.5, they are going to immediately know why you are using it; but will tell you to contact Avid about it. Knowing full well that you can't.
