Hey, are there any Maschine Mikro MK3 owners out there?
I recently stumbled upon a custom Linux driver on GitHub that allows the device to be used in MIDI mode. I decided to fork the project and expand on the idea. So far, I've implemented support for pad mapping, pad sensitivity scaling, and configurable colors and lighting modes via a configuration file.
My goal is to keep developing this and restore or get close to the original MIDI mode functionality.

I've got one, and I've used Pymikro to control the Mikro. Ok, it doesn't do MIDI straight off the bat, but that's fairly simple to write.

 

Interesting. I tried with pymicro, but I couldn't send any midi to DAW. I saw the signals in the terminal but I didn’t figure out how to send it (routing) to DAW, no controller in qpwgraph

 

Yeah, it doesn't do MIDI out of the box, you have to write the mapping yourself. I use Mido to send MIDI messages across.

 

I'll take a look at it and give it a try.
