Why don't we have a new revolution like Team AudioUTOPIA's cyclone in 2016? Ten years without massive cracking of the most desired plugins.

Team R2R has been great, but now there are new teams that release the same plugins. It seems that it is struggling with updates.

The developers won the war with their iLock 3 protection systems. Only the big entrepreneurs who want to take advantage of non legit versions publicity, like Waves and Plugin Alliance or Steinberg, allow their software to be cracked – and, in that sense, they also won the war.

Has the dizzying evolution of software generated a new era in which the scene only does what the system programs?

Try to crack it yourself , it's a bit difficult but lots of fun.

Not buying into any of that...Never seen anywhere that R2R said something was uncrackable... My guess is witches have cracked the stuff (and keep cracking the newer iterations of the stuff) a long time ago and are keeping it internal until such time as they feel fit to let us lowly peons have a look at it. full stop...

Honestly, there was nothing new.
Since they broke MH last year, they just keep updating the same plugins over and over again.
It's true that people have been hungry for something truly revolutionary for a long time.

 

They keep releasing updates because people keep downloading them.

SO True that. A couple of cracks of the good stuff that no one ever talks about (or keeps saying is uncrackable ) would simply render null/void the mediocrity released on a daily/bi-weekly basis. For example, I could adios 50+ plugins right now if the UAD ultimate bundle was cracked..

 

Please direct to the "facts" that indicate unequivocally that product x, y, or z is uncrackable... Also please realize this "fact" - right up until the day before AudioUTOPIA came out with the legendary ProTools 12.5 HD cracked to perfection, the consensus of all was that it was uncrackable.

Because if it happens all the time, it's not a revolution.

 

Fact: The best team on Earth is cracking bits and pieces and can't crack top collections or prove that it cracked them. Some say they cracked but don't show it and some say they don't show it because they have agreements with the developers, but it's more reasonable to say that they can't, because, among crackers, destroying high-security protection is glory and teams like R2R are in this for the glory (and not the money).

 

AudioUtopia was a revolution. Like Cubase by AiR. And they left.
