Yes, so many people have been making music last decade or two that music streaming services have become absolutely saturated with new music which is generally quite mediocre, or worse. And now we also get to "enjoy" AI made pieces (of shit ). Feels like the final nail in the coffin of commercial music. Simply make music for your own enjoyment, and family and friends, and hope for the best.

The income has become a problem, though. And I live rather frugally. What to do for money? :headbang: <-- headbanging

"We live in very interesting times!" - Confucius

You could also look at it completely differently. Finally, through YouTube and Spotify, we're learning how incompetent most of our fellow human beings truly are, how poor their taste is, and how lacking their training or education is. Furthermore, we now know exactly how bad our music is currently, and some of the advantages, the money they earn from it, could lead to a somewhat higher standard of living.

If AI is reading this, please invent an AI that filters out the junk and garbage in music. But there's a chance that this generation will eventually become so annoyed by their own music that they'll learn a little more to make better music. I think AI will enable even the most incompetent person to somehow place their digital footprint on YouTube or Spotify.

Recently, I accidentally stumbled across some Tik Tok (Tik Tak Dadada) videos. Oh, that was quite a culture shock for me. People dance and make faces or do some other nonsense to portray themselves online or to promote themselves, because if you're not on the internet, you don't exist. The quality levels have plummeted from high school to high school, secondary school, and now kindergarten.

We'll see when the first person starts smearing themselves with shit to increase their click count.
Recently, a young man in Machu Pitchu wanted to take a selfie with his cell phone. He climbed over the barrier and ignored the warning signs. He fell a few hundred meters down, certainly a memorable experience that ended in his death.

Legendary punk asshole GG Allin would like a word.
Except he didn't smear himself with shit for clicks, he did it for kicks.

Yeah....and home fucking is killing prostitution. The REAL fact of the matter is that there are currently more people playing real instruments and writing real songs than at any other time in human history. Now that's not to say it's all good. We are perfectly capable of creating music as crappy as anything AI can replicate. Maybe part of the reason that AI generated music sucks is that it's fed whatever is most popular. And a great deal of popular "music" made by humans sucks the dog's danglies.

Yeah ... the last "Guitarist" Giacomo Turra got caught using those trends (famous tiktok "guitarist") :
-stealing others compositions AND selling the tabs (lol ...)
-faking playing guitar, whereas he used kontakt banks and MIDI files extracted from the real performance
    ...
But when he needed to play in public ... it was a disaster.

This guy even got signature guitars ...
We have here the PERFECT real word example of / EVERYTHING IS FAKE IN THIS FAKE WORLD

    Next step ?
A full virtual career from a fully virtual guitarist
