Is there a new Inflator with the facelift released for Mac ? Didn't know that. 32bit Windows one is still around and still working with Jbridge.
Unfortunately, there are these requests. And yes, you are biased unintentionally because you don't don't frequently visit Mac posts.
One would know the difference between a Mac and a Window user if only you had to share a table at a restaurant with a group of them...like I did last year while vacationing on Palma. They're gottdamn horrid animals!! They started a food fight, and then some were picking stuff off of the floor and eating it with their bare hands. This was absolutely disgusting and which caused many of the other patrons to begin vomiting, and then the vomiters and the remaining diners in a great wave of panic ran away as fast as they could and onto the safety of the street, far enough from that mind numbing insanity to feel safe where they gathered on the far corner of the eatery to call the police. Three of the Mac madmen started a contest to see who could squirt the ketchup the furthest from the bottle, and in the next instant one freak began to grope our waitress who was having none of it and kicked him right in the balls. She whistled for her boyfriend the cook who instantly came running out from the kitchen along with the filthy aproned dishwasher who was menacingly brandishing a dirty salad fork in his right hand...and the battle began. All throughout the melee, as if all the Macheads were part of a hive mind, those idiots began chanting "Mac Mac Mac Mac Mac" louder and louder until they were all in unison shrieking, faces grimaced, evil eyed and screaming at the very top of their lungs. When the police finally arrived they eventually arrested the lot, but for good measure, in order to subdue them, thought they just had to use an over the top amount of pepper spray. In addition the cops felt it their solemn duty to beat the boys down pretty good so as to show those sociopathic maniacs their place...and decided to use their favorite black wooden batons. The next day the Mac freaks were all kicked off the island, from hospital bed or jail cell directly onto a jet plane, and were all sent back to whatever country of origin each had originally come from, and too, by an official judicial ruling from a very angry senior judge, never allowed to return to the island again...ever! I can and there's enough of them too, I have been helping moderators in the past with reporting those comments and I can assure you, whenever someone get's something first, story flips the side.
I never asked for anything, because I'm a nerd and I actually read the rules before becoming a member. I had comments deleted by mods tho.
there are definitely more "mac plz" comments, but there are "win plz" as well. I would guess they would be equal in number if mac had as many releases as windows.
There are so many plugins available at this point, literally zero of the ones not yet available are a "need". So really all releases are a "nice to have". If it's not available on my particular platform, meh. They either appear at some point or they don't. Too many people seem to have the impression "x" plugin is the missing piece of the puzzle that will finally make their productions "professional".
As for MAC exclusive plugins - The Logic bundled plugins are all only MAC - well, you did ask As for Sonnox plugins, I own the latest versions of the ones I have courtesy of cheap sales on Audiodeluxe - Inflator and all are available on Windows and MAC as far as I know. Their site doesn't seem to indicate to the contrary. As for asking on Windows plugins, for me, I am grateful for small mercies, so I tend not to ask and I have enough plugins.... it's not like there aren't enough plugins out there that will do the job on any project if one brand isn't readily available.
