Speaking of dub mixing, here's a rubadub performance of a guy from Manchester: wicked!

@Dom_Perignon Super cool, thanks! Dancing with knobs & faders, really takes me back to playing King Tubby tapes (and smoking spliffs).

    Hello
I received my tc electronic m300 in very good condition. the sounds are correct. It's not as good as some plugins but that's not the point here.
    the reverbs present are :
Hall, plate, spring, room, long room, large cathedral.
    For delays:
Ping pong, slap back, tape delay, dynamic deLay,studio delay
    Other modulations:
Vintage phaser, phaser, chorus, tremolo, hard tremolo, flanger.
There's also compression, but I haven't tested it.
I've plugged the unit in dual mono, so part of the signal goes to aux1 on the console and the other to aux2, and I can manually adjust the gain, delay, decay, predelay and color settings ( more high mid). The effects are in mono, but by mixing reverbs and delays, the sound is truly enlarged and magnified. And it's an oldschool project.
However, I'll buy the analog delay I mentioned recently and a bus compressor.
I'd probably take a second unit of the M300 for Vintage phaser, phaser, chorus, tremolo, hard tremolo, flanger modulations.
I've sold equipment I no longer use to buy new old stuff. I don't lose any money.
I've spent a lot of time rediscovering lost automatisms, but it's great fun.
This is the way I wanted to work. With my hands, like a mechanic or a plumber. However, my project is likely to take some time between composing the songs and mastering the effects, console, mutes, solos, etc.
Right now, it's 37 degrees (France) (95.0 °F in the US) and I've had to stop because I don't have any air-conditioning and the machines are heating up like hell. See you later.

I would recommend the hardware..more routing n flexibility.i own some tc electronic stuff..they sound great..M One..M300...D Two...Triple C...and an older analog parametric eq/preamp.which sounds warm also.
I also own the Digitech Studio Quad..4 mono send returns..
Well...good luck in choosing what you want.

    Jahbless n Love

The compressors on the M-One were clean but not very good. Don't expect too much from a late 90s digital compressor. When I was using hardware, I prefered a Behringer Composer (analog) over it. All time-based effects were great.
A good cheap effect, already cheap at the time, was the Zoom 1201. The reverbs ranged from decent to very good, the flanger, pitch shifter and ring modulator were great, it had a very good vocoder, excellent vocal distortions, cool 'background noise generator', more than decent chorus plus a few things I dont remember. No dynamics effects, and delays were simplistic and meh. Very easy to use. If you find one that works, it should be dirt cheap (unless it has becomed a collector's item, which I'm not aware of).

Thank you. I'll add a parametric eq fore sure!I know a little bit how to use it and will look at D Two Triple C.

    @wanderer
    Thank you for this informations.
For saturation, I have 4 Golden Age Audio Premier Pre-573 series 500 preamps that I will use with the console's DB25 connections.
