Hi folks, meant to share this earlier but unfortunately did not get to it in time.
The latest compilation of the Planetary Drift series by Arcologies was released recently. This was a physical release and sold out almost immediately. I was lucky enough to have my track "Take Control" alongside some incredible atmospheric drum and bass producers.

You can stream Planetary Drift Vol.3 now:

    100%!!!
I'm so loving the 90s design aesthetic on this series, the last two were equally spot on:

smooth tracks, thanks for sharing. really makes me want to do something in this style. should listen to these some more often.
i should have a few compilations back in my hometown, from late 90s i think? with the same weird cool aesthetic/covers and same style of music :)

care to share a bit more about your tune? behind the scenes?

Top one is very Amiga 'scene' ... bottom one is classic future-retro, beautiful design.

    Thank you!

The track I contributed to the comp was a track I released last year:

Most of the tracks I put out are typically sketches I have sitting in my hard drive. I have a huge pool of unfinished tunes, roughly 25 years worth of stuff which I revisit from time to time to see if there's anything I can salvage. This was one of those tunes. The basic idea was already fleshed out and I just filled it in. The vocal sample is from a Teddy Pendergrass tune called Love TKO:

I used to sample older rnb tunes quite a bit and this particular vocal I originally sampled on a different track but because it fit so much better on this one I decided to keep it. For drums, I tend to create breaks from scratch using GM kits from my hardware modules which is what I did here. The bass line I played on a Fender jazz bass which I recorded, chopped up and layered in. The rest of the sounds came from a Roland Integra7 and UVI libraries.

Really like it mate, good quality listening, which is kinda rare nowadays. Compiled very well i'd say, it has a nice seamless flow. Dug your track too, very cool. Bravo and thanks for the share.
    Cheers
