I recently changed location of the pc and apparently accidentally changed the USB port for the audio interface. Now I have computer noise on the audio output when moving the mouse . i am just busy checking that

Asus usually followed by gigabyte, anyway it's just a suggestion.

EVGA RTX 2080 Ti need 650w to function, this dosen't include the power to run your motherboard CPU & drves.

Nvidia's in house cards requre 650w.

    (see page 4)

Gigabyte state not to try to run the card in a system powered by less then a 750w PSU.

I've seen a lot of PSU that can only handle 300 or 500W in computers with people then trying to install these high performace graphics cards.

I call them power hungry because of what the graphics cards needed only a few years ago. The old Nvidia Quadro P2000, predecessor of the RTX series from Nvidia, only needed 75w and from that it could produce almost half of what the RTX 2040 can do.

In your case a 850w should have you covered but saccamano, it's Bamboozled's computer with the issue. Not Your computer.

Sure - I was just reacting to the 1KW psu inference regarding the RTX GPU's. I have never myself or seen anyone with a build that required a 1KW psu, unless they were building some sort of bitcoin mining device or other ridiculous use model.

Wow! You guys continue to blow me away! So much great stuff to go through ...and VERY much appreciated.

Quick update on some of the questions asked:

Hi @zalbadar - It's an EVGA graphics card and the power supply is Corsair RM1000X.

Hi @taskforce, not sure where you read I was running at 3600, it's 2667.

Hi @AlexF, interesting! Out of all of the great suggestions, this has gone to the top of my 'to do' list to check. Also checking the Taichi cooling as mentioned by @Blickbard.

Thanks again folks! I'm running out of superlatives to describe your generous support! :)

    You said
That 360 in the end messed with my head hehe. I just assumed its a 2666 rated mem running @ 3600mhz. Loads of high clock mem is overclocked like this. Np, my bad mate. Memory test still applies though and also what @clone said about reseating the mem sticks. Sometimes memory is a culprit and it's hard to tell quickly. I usually do a two-three hrs test max but it has happened for memory to present its faulty nature after 8 hrs or continuous memtest.
    Cheers
