I find that a real shame, though, because I assumed you'd find "all" synthesizers that have been released on your website. So the R3 is simply omitted because it's no longer in production, and since it's not listed on your site, it doesn't exist, as if the R3 had never existed. What do you mean by virtual versions?

This is clearly a great idea. One of the best ideas I've ever seen.

 

The aim of the site is to make it quick and easy to find VST, kontakt or other available versions of electronic instruments. It is planned that one day all synthesizers will be available on the site, but for this to happen, virtual versions will have to be created by the companies. Even for simple samples, I create a page.

Thanks . Originally I wanted to create a big list just for me and finally 3 years ago I decided to make this list bigger and 2 years ago I decided to make it a site.

 

Could you please explain the virtual versions to me in more detail or in a different way? I have no idea what you mean by that.

Why I've decided to switch the site to an "Insider-only" model starting June 13th:

After two years of providing free access and investing hundreds of passionate hours, my ambition is to dedicate 100% of my time to VirtualSynthesizers to fully develop its potential. This means leaving my current job to make this my primary focus.

To make this viable, and as I've always promised: ZERO ADS, EVER.

So, I've opted for community support, with a subscription price I've aimed to keep as minimal as possible: €3.90/month (or approx. €3.12/month with an annual plan). This will cover operational costs (server, plugins, etc.) and allow me to make a living from this project that I'm so passionate about (I also have three kids).

Not everyone wants to become a permanent customer, but they want to support the good cause with a one-time contribution.

I understand that not everyone will want to subscribe, but this is the only way to avoid running after donations all the time. I am proposing a 20% discount on the annual plan to make it even more affordable. I am based in France and will be heavily taxed.

This choice is the result of a long reflection. If I want this site to grow and truly live up to its promises, that’s the path I have to take. I am a content creator who asks for a small contribution. Those who enjoy the project will give this modest amount each month for content that will only keep evolving — while the price remains unchanged.

If you don’t need it, then you’re simply not concerned, and if you only need it occasionally, you can subscribe for just one month from time to time. It’s not a commitment-based subscription.
