    Hi , anybody knows how to install the zona Ritmo expansion from the sister site for Maschine ?

    I have put the library into the folder Which is specified in the .reg file .
    And I've double clicked and installed the registry key ,but my Maschine doesn't find the Library.

    I'm running latest Maschine 3 bob dule release

    There is one more file that is needed. Everything else looks good.

    Create a file named 'Zona Ritmo.json' and place it in 'C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products\'

    In this file is one line: {"ContentDir":"F:\\Zona Ritmo Library\\","ContentVersion":"1.0.0"}

    Just create a text file. Enter:

    {"ContentDir":"F:\\Zona Ritmo Library\\","ContentVersion":"1.0.0"}

    Save it. Change the extension .txt into .json

    he mean you need to create a file named 'Zona Ritmo.json
    then inside of it put the library locations for his example he using f:\\ drive
    Code:
    {
      "ContentDir": "F:\\Zona Ritmo Library\\",
      "ContentVersion": "1.0.0"
    }
    use notpadd++ you can download it here

    you can delete the old json file (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products), and maschine will create a new one from regedit data

    what about NativeAccess.xml ? (the library validator for all NI applications)

    This might not be relevant, but in your first screenshot, you've placed Zona Ritmo Library folder in your Kontakt Librarys (F) drive.

    On the same pic in the Quick Access folders on the left, you have a separate folder for Maschine Expansions. Should it not be placed in there?

    the mad thing is that kontakt portable will manage expansions libraries, as maschine central & battery now one shot samples.
    and the regular kontakt don't, it is only loaded by kkontrol or maschine in the legit way.(according to NativeAccess.xml)

    to enable the single samples management you have to hack NativeAccess.xml
    add this for the products you want to see in Kontakt (anything with loops and one shots in the samples folder, as expansions)

    <Application minVersion="8" nativeContent="true">Kontakt</Application>

    so you can use the samples directly in kontakt.
    the NI logic is strange for one shots use. i don't know why they don't enable the kontakt load when it can be done from NativeAccess.xml, without the need of a nicnt file. all is working normally, even for previews.

    one more joke from NI.

    Did you get this working?

    I'm looking at your files and the difference between yours and mine are that you're adding an unnecessary "\\" at the end of the ContentDir in the registry file.

    ContentDir":"F:\\Zona Ritmo Library\\

    Change it to this:

    ContentDir":"F:\\Zona Ritmo Library

    Hopefully that will get it working for you.

    I really don't know what else to do, I've tried it several times now.... I've moved the library to other locations, changed these characters //, created the json file...it doesn't work

    Do I have to edit the Native Acces XML to display the library?

    not for zona ritmo
    your edited json file is bad \\ at the end of the library name.

    you can delete it, maschine will make a new one at launch.

    I have tried it now, the first time I removed the two wrong \\ and started machine, the library was not displayed.
    then I tried to delete the json file so that machine rebuilds it, unfortunately no new json file is created, that means it didn't work for me either, I'm on Win 10

    Start fresh.

    1.) Delete all Zona Ritmo files from your computer except the main downloaded "Zona Ritmo Library" folder.

    2.) Delete the Zona Ritmo info from your registry.

    3.) Check your Zona Ritmo Library folder. Make sure all the original downloaded files are there, including the PAResources folder. (I would suggest to re-download the library.)

    Edit your .reg file to match your correct ContentDir, then try to re-add it.

    Do it exactly as mentioned above without adding/changing any steps.

    The library should show up in Maschine 3 when you open it.
