I myself try to give more complete answers to questions. But we have to accept one fact. Due to the existence of so many genres of music, it is almost impossible to answer many questions. Whenever an answer comes to someone's mind, when it is checked in different genres, it becomes clear that that answer is not an answer that covers all situations. Different genres of music work on completely contradictory and incompatible things. When there weren't so many different genres of music, it was easy to answer the questions, but because of the large number of genres, the answers are practically incomplete. The answers, like much open-ended music, are always open.

 

That's actually a great skill to have.. Getting stuck on a composition and wasting endless amounts of time doing this and that to save it. There are times when you've got to realize it's not working and it's time to move on to the next one. Don't be afraid to start 100 projects and only finish 10. The important part is the learning experience along the way. You'll eventually start to get quicker at putting ideas together and making things flow, but it's not going to be 100% every time. You're going to end up throwing a lot away, don't be afraid of it.

Musical composition can refer to an original piece or work of music, either vocal or instrumental, the structure of a musical piece or to the process of creating or writing a new piece of music. People who create new compositions are called composers.

 

I would submit that a lot of modern music does not involve composition as such. Not that I have any problem with that but it is often a different process of just kind of throwing colors against a wall and seeing what looks nice together. I would almost compare it more to a multitrack improvisation process.

This is what I said with various ways in my posts. The method used to make music today is: non-compositional approach
This method uses almost none of the traditional music-making techniques and is based more on gluing slightly modified ready-made stuff together.
Consider a house that one person designs from start to finish, focusing on every detail, not using anything that someone else has used, and considering everything themselves. Like writing an essay or a story.
But today's music is not like that, everything is ready in packs, and you open the packs and take something from each pack and use it in your product. Which pack you open and what you take out of the pack is a matter of chance. Even the way you put the things you take out of the packs together is a matter of chance.
Traditional music was something that was completely thought out and every detail was taken into account, but in today's music, details don't matter, and what matters is that you put things together and present them as a product.
