This is a new track by Dhurata Dora, I played around a bit with stem separation to hear the instrument better.

What kind of synth is this ?
I've heard something like that in several of these dance tracks, I want to build something like that too, it's relatively easy to hear at minute 1:08 and after .

The sound immediately at 108 that then comes in focus like a min later is a mellotron string, rather filtered in this instance. Could be sampled. Could be a reissue Maniken. Could be og. Hell my Jp8080 has that patch in it. Search for "Tron String" and you should find results at some point that sound close to that. IK Sampletron has several versions of this patch.

    Are you sure ?
To me it sounds like a weird pitched vocal , I don't know ,like a synth vocal or something like that .

I listened again. I am now sure of two things. 1. Yeah, thats the trailing delay folded with a filter of the vocal (I missed the split second start last time, so all I heard was that tron sound because.. its everywhere. 2. That particular sound can mimicked with the Tron String patch if you reverse gate it. Least what I have anyway. Same thing at 152ish. As to what they're doing, that isn't a synth. Its the vocal line with fx. I hear delayed, reversed, gated, and filtered. Reversed and gated could also be an LFO modulating the filter, it does have a very definite ramp and cutoff point. My guess would be a multieffect. Only vocal synths I can think of are the older roland varios, that newer red casio thing, vocaloids, and speech synthesis chip emulations... The casio is the only one I can't remember what it sounds like. Definitely not the others.

You can probably get that sound you're after on vocals by just putting Auto-tune Classic (hard tune) into Ableton Vocoder (Modulation mode). This lets you easily shape the sound with the Vocoder Band (set to your taste), and you can change the gate setting on vocoder if you want that 'liquefy' feel. Pitch it up if needed and finish it off with some reverb, filters and delay until you like it. GLHF

I'm not sure what is it you are after. If its the vocal loop in the background then its a looped snippet of the vocal performance, a fairly common practice. Producers blend a vocal rhythmic pattern with the drop, it's usually not loud enough to stand on it's own but it glues vocals with a drop. If you are asking how to make the vocal pattern it's baby easy, just chop the begging or the end of a phrase, process is however you like it and mix it with other sounds. It's a no brainer.
