The release was missing the Soundstats file. It would be nice to say if there was a .pdf with it, it would have been included. But when a release is missing files, it opens the door to question its completeness. Which is essentially what OP is doing anyway.

If it is loaded via Superior Drummer 2, and has sound; that is most complete verification available when running it that way. Or asking someone with it still installed. I think someone here does still use this from the original installations. I sent a pm.

I have the v1.5 update tutorial.
Unfortunately the reference guide does not have the information I am looking for.
This tutorial is mostly about the updated Superior plugin, whereas I am looking for information on the installation process of the sample files included in the first release.

Thank you but I am not looking for the 2.0 manual.
I have done quite extensive search through engines without finding the manual which is why I posted here.

The closest to finding the manual I have come is this photo of the box and included material.

I am pretty sure the information I need is in there.
It also seems it might be the only place where they included the information.

 

If somebody owns the original dfh Superior, there might be a chance that you can register by serial number on toontrack.com and there will be a digitized version of the manual by Toontrack. Of course this is just a presumption by me.
Dfh Superior is since long out of print, and not available for purchase anywhere.

 

If you do happen to find it at one point, I would appreciate even just a snapshot of the page that describes the installation process of the samples. What I am looking for is the complete number of files in every folder after a complete install.

Registering dfh Superior with Toontrack may be possible if your serial number is unused, but you are unlikely to gain access to a digitized manual or downloadable installers. For specific installation details, your best route is to seek help from the user community or obtain the original manual secondhand

 

@defon have you read your DM? I provided you with the owner's manual for DFH Superior 1.6 detailing a complete install instruction. It's genune because I'm with the brand since 2004.
