Last week i have seen a lot of plugins got deleted on sister site, for example Nuro Audio XVOX Pro v1.0.6 U2B Mac [MORiA] and many more. I was lucky to download these before removal. Any ideas why this is happening, and have you seen something related?

They have to know where to watch, what to do and how to do it, and want it to be removed.

Also no real point. Torrent sites don't comply anyway unless the material itself is harmful and/or against the sites policy or if inaction will bring real and appreciable consequence. But since everyone concurs that hosting such sites in US territories isn't a bright idea taking down such places isn't a trivial thing.

I'd wager many small to midsize devs see what positives it can have on your sales too. Personally, unless I'm already very familiar with the company, I'm not buying without either a run in a mostly unrestricted demo or borrowed copy first. If its super duper exciting I'll even write the dev(s) a note saying that piracy lead to my purchase just so they get some feedback on its value.

This is not entirely accurate. Things do get removed from the Comrade Tracker. They also do get removed from private trackers, but those sites block search engines from getting results from them. Public trackers do not. Some sample vendors have had things removed from private trackers, as an example. It's very infrequently, but it does happen.

Yes, that's fair. I s'pose I was being a bit too absolutist. I keep forgetting it isn't 2002 anymore. The whole reciprocal treaty thing with other nations and google inc formerly declaring their desire to do evil has a bit more bite to it these days.

It's a very small amount of exceptions. Some of it may be due to agreements as those you mention, but some of it is just the amount of follow-thru with the various hosters. It is still true that once uploaded, nothing is ever actually gone. It's just a little more inconvenient to try finding.
Some sites/trackers will have a "do not upload" list and it is usually the most persistent sources to save themselves the time and effort later on.

Now that I think on it, the Feds did just finish spending over a decade to get Kim Dotcoms extradition order. Bit excessive to deliver a belated DMCA. Though he did break the cardinal rule... only do one no-no at a time. Pocket full of pills? Drive the limit. Running a file system that refuses to police itself? Don't anger the worlds wealthiest media conglomerates and especially don't openly flaunt violating US copyright law while doing it. Gov't spent more to get him than they have on toppling some foreign governments. Never fuck with Mickeys (mouse) money.

It's been so long since I've extensively used a natively eng language tracker. FF translates just well enough to learn the nav and search systems, extra reading not so much. All this is coming back. Ye olde haunts are all gone. Keep meaning to buy an audionews month or ratio starter? not sure how they do it. But then I look at all the shiny toys I already have... and then think, I should probably uninstall that 200gb expertly curated kazoo collection that I guess I didn't really need.
