Ya you need it if you have no iLok dongle.
The registration is tied to computer hardware, like plugin alliance.

 

i guess you have to download ILok manager but im looking on line and i keep see Warning's Saying Don't Download it

 

mmm where and why? btw pace extension and license manager are required also to run
unpaced iLok1 stuff, and it's years I'm using without a problem.
I wouldn't care too much about that. This is the first case I use something iLok related
in my whole life and I'm not unhappy with it, this kind of CP scheme is no different than P.A. one for example.
Other stuff is real iLok2 demos and freebies like SoundToys
The registration is tied to some piece of hardware (mobo maybe) in your computer.
After installing the license firewall the License Manager and forget bout it

 

I would like to install this plugin offline (my PC doesn't have Internet connection at all). How can I do this? Is it real? I have no dongle, any hardware usb-key etc. I hate this.....

 

ok i got it Working But'' the CPU Load is out of control mybe if i had a New 12 core Mac Pro that to bad to the EQ is really clean and transparent

Mmm I forgot a thing, it asked on which device I would like to tie the license,
and I choose my MBP as I had no connected external HDD or thumbdrive,
but there was an option to activate on external devices/thumb drives,
so probably it's possible to activate an USB key on another computer.

 

I tested it yesterday and it's and absolutely worth gift!! It's sounds so good!

great idea copylefter! just made a few backup ilok accents myself!

 

After installation etc it seems to work when not connected to the internet, so for those like me that have a music pc that is offline, you could just set it up, and then continue being offline. I think having this plugin is worth allowing your music pc to go online once. I have only tested it on my laptop but am intending on installing it on my music pc tomorrow.

Does anyone know if this will mess up cracked software?
