Hopefully, someone can help me.
I ran into the following problem with my Maschine Installation from HCISO.

3.0.1 and 3.1.1 spitting out the same error:


I have not idea why, as every plugin is working in Kontakt standalone or Studio One. Just with Maschine, it's not working, rendering my Maschine Mikro useless.

Could anyone help me please?

 

Supported Operation System:
- macOS 13.0 or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel Core processor

On other site, over 100 people have downloaded with no comments of problems with this release.

I have the same problem with Sequoia 15.4.1 With machine 3 And also komplete kontrol 3.4.1 . Any ideas ?

 

the problem is not the release from HCiso. It is from NI. Stick to the one device (Maschine) in threads about Maschine or it will just add confusion. Some people with the problem have made posts about NI Maschine 3 blocking MK1 and MK2 devices.

That's what's bugging me. I bought the Maschine Mikro MK3, installed the HCISO on my Macbook Pro M2 Max (everything up to date) and it's bugging me with not being able to load my plugins in it.

Of course, I had been searching the sister site, comments, reddit and some other forum but nothing so far.

So I thought, maybe I could find a solution here.

 

Another thing that's confusing. It shows my AU and is working fine with them.
Kontakt 8 VST3 wont show up at all and the sounds I get in the browser can't be loaded into it, giving me the above message.

I have no VST2 plugins, only VST3 and AU.

I figured, the same happens with KOMPLETE KONTROL.

 

what about the json files management?
generally to delete after adding/moving/updating a library, or updating a software version.
the applications will write new one's at launch.

here normally
Macintosh HD/ User/Shared/Native Instruments/Installed_Products

at first opening NI products will collect the plist data to build these files, once created it read directlly inside instead of the plist.


it is only managed by Native Access for legit users with matching activation enabled.
not legit users or using unactivated products have to manage this manually.
the new NI system use both (plist & json), the data inside need to match. ContentDir, ContentVersion...InstallDir for applications

So basically, that means, I should delete all json files from that folder and load up a NI Plugin or restart Maschine?

Edit: Did that. Re recreated everything upon starting Maschine 3.11 but still... the same error occurs when double clicking samples in the lower left corner. I could not find the plist though.

PPS: wait a minute... It gives me this error, whenever I want to load a sample from a Kontakt library. When I head to 'All Sounds', I can load all the sounds from the Factory Library without any issues. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the usage of Maschine?
