I'm having a problem with the new Native Instruments Jade and Ivory piano libraries. I installed them initially and everything worked, but I had to change the disk libraries because I installed them in the wrong place. From then on, things got messy, and I was never able to open them again. I used KLU 2.4.0 to both uninstall and reinstall them, and all I get when I open Kontakt is an empty tap for both libraries. I'm running Kontakt 8.2 on macOS 12.7.6.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

you need to delete the .json files of the libraries from the "installed products" folder. I forget where that folder is, but search chatgpt or google, and you'll find it. Once you delete those files, you can re-install.

 

If you are using the Bobdule Version of Kontakt, you can also use the included json file cleaner you will find, once you've opened the little tools window by clicking on "managing libraries"

 

Thank you so much, Shinyzen and Rain Drum, for the advice. Deleting the .json files didn't work at first because, while testing, I modified the libraries with KLU, and didn't quite know what to do. I had to download them again, and now they work.
This is an excellent community, and I'm proud to be a part of it.

 

Sometimes, you also need to start a new instance of Kontakt for the changes to take effect. This might also be a reason for the delayed success =)

 

Can these libaries be installed in a non cracked Kontakt 8 in windows 11 ? im crap at this stuff.
