Hey everyone, I'm having a problem on a mix that I can't fix. There's a click (not from clipping) in the same place every time I export or print my mix, but it's not there at all when I'm hearing it through playback on my DAW. I'm on Pro Tools. When I send the mix to a print track and input monitor it, I can hear it.
I don't know what to do, because I don't understand where it's coming from. I checked all of my tracks and none are causing the clicking individually

Change your Buffer Size to Max or 2048. It may solve your problem

 

Hi, I'm not a Protools user anymore, but if you have already checked buffer size, sample rate issues(audio card sync, master/slave etc.), I would check for the bit depth of the exported mixdown, for example, if you are exporting the audio to a 16 bit file which is unable to keep the dynamic range of the internal floating point engine, it could produce clicks, or also, a plugin that is causing the issue when offline rendering.

do you mean that this is happening in real time? In that case it could be related to sync issues, such as more than one sample rate master clock.
