So I was reading up on SWAM flutes and couldn't find an answer to this one. Does anyone know how to get the single or double tonguing articulations with these instruments? It's not staccato (short bursts started and interrupted by the diaphragm), and it's not fluttering (like the Italian/Spanish /r/ trills). It's more like legato, but instead of letting the air flow while changing notes by fingering alone, one slightly interrupts it with 'consonants' like /d/, /t/, /g/ or /k/.

Default articulation on the SWAM flutes is handled by a combination of velocity and expression (CC11) values. With a breath controller I find they respond to tonguing and legato articulations in an extremely lifelike and satisfying way. They even begin to break octave when you hit hard. There is going to be a bit of latency no matter what you do, and on my system even with buffers at their lowest values I find it interferes with playing very fast articulated runs.

    something like this?

doing certain things via keyboard apparently doesnt really work unless you hotkey map a drum pad to do so , or just draw in midi notes , or are rather good with a mod wheel and keyboard
i found this thread a while back along with the video in my search to get my yamaha wx11 working with fl studio ( sadly it only works fully with vst reaktor , and ephonics invader 2 of all things)

I guess you mean the effect you hear in clip above at 3:51?
I think this effect is achieved for real with consonant R.
And yes you can achieve in swam too, right now I cannot check, I'll do later.
