    Have you ever saw this?

    that help chart works only for notes that are been played at the same time to see if they are harmonically sounds good.
    ex: F=A good sounding
    F=E not good
    Is there a similar chart for playing notes one after another that seems pleasant to hear?
    ex: F then D then A then C -> wouldn't be the circle of fifths do about this?

    Major key ? Sounds cheerful and harmonious
    Minor key ? Sounds sad and discordant

    A lot of pop songs, the majority of radio listeners can't expect anything else, are mostly in the cheerful major key, often
    consisting of only three chords: D - C - G. If you play the chords in the order D - C - G, it is a harmonic progression

    Trio - Da Da Da

    The band Trio in the video recognized how the masses tick and accordingly made the song in baby talk so they can sing along. It was a huge success and always gets royalties. Da Da Da! Just don't make such demanding music if you want to reach a lot of people.

    33 Songs mit 3 Akkorden

    With 3 chords you can already play a lot of songs, I just put together 33 of them. Here in this video are the first 16 of a total of 33 songs, the chords here are D major, G major and A major.

    I'm told if you use the BeeHive Chart, you must poison the queen to get a rest, and then respawn the hive to get things going which can lead to latency unless you accomodate the slow startup within you composition. A bit like Keith Emerson turning off his organ to get the drone dropping in frequency, but you got to power it back up to continue playing.

    A bit of a bother, really...

    its why I switched to injectable charts and musical hamsters, if you get enough of them they are polyphonic and with a a good flywheel the hamsters running can generate sufficient power to run a laptop through time of the average public performance.
    (pro tip - hamsters =$$$$ - when on tour)

    P.S, though they don't work for peanuts, Purina Hamster Chow is quite affordable, even for a musician, when in bought in bulk at your local farm supply store. (don't mention injecting charts into hamsters though, they get a bit "funny" about it)

    Best if you just learn pitch intervals and their qualities. Nothing in music uses absolute, fixed notes; everything is determined by the relative relationship between notes and can be freely shifted up and down.

    "Most pleasant" sounding in Western traditions is usually considered the least dissonant interval. "Most unpleasant" sounding is usually considered the most dissonant interval.

    The more complex the frequency ratio between two notes (for example 15:16 for a minor 2nd interval), the more unpleasant & dissonant the sound.

    The simpler the frequency ratio between two notes (1:1 unison, 1:2 octave, 3:2 perfect 5th, ...) the more pleasant & consonant the sound.

    unison -> octave -> perfect 5th -> perfect 4th, ...

    Using "unpleasant" / "dissonant" intervals in interesting places is how music communications emotion.

    It's not only generally desirable to have bits of dissonance and "unpleasant" harmony in there with the good stuff, I'd say it's necessary. Adjacent notes that would be considered awful sounding if you concentrated on them at length are everywhere in music but used in ways that the listener often has no idea. It's the salt that keeps music from being bland.

    I used some "slightly soiled 4ths" and some "imperfect or second 5ths" and found though they cost less, they added a certain unique flair, that and I only tune my guitar on full moons now as well, if we all played the same thing we'd sound like some sort of orcherstraw or something.

    music is simply a vibration we try to induce in others...
