It is mixed and mastered. It is ready to … be monetized. What should I do with it now to show it to the world? Should I run to copyright, license it or whatever? How about music aggregators. What could be the right plan? If any is possible.

I can cut you a deal under Maritime Law. If your song meets our requirements, we can place you! We are working with major cruise ship companies in Norway as well as the 7-11 retail network and Spotify. PM me

Hmm... So, to monetize our work, the proper plan is: first to register with PPL as a Performer and Recording Rightsholder Audio. They will issue an ISRC number then. PPL is the only ISRC issuer in the UK. PPL and ISRC are assigned to the country where we live, make and sell our music. Registration is free. Please allow two to three weeks for approval of your online application.

Does anyone have any experience with PPL?

I have taken the next step. I am a registered PRS member. This cost me a one-off payment of £100. Now I have to deal with registering my songs and tracks. Any directions from experienced members of those organisations?

If you are planning to release your work as an official artist song, then you would want to look for an online music distributor that is able to release your song in different music platforms.

Yes. This is the third step. But still we need ISRC, right?

If I ever released my own material, I'd like to do it on cassette or vinyl.

Most dig disributors assign a ISRC numbers. I use Distrokid and CDBaby.

You would need MCPS in the UK then.

What I know the PPL only issues ISRC. And probably it works with British distributors. But when foreign distributors can issue ISRC I could provide my ISRC I think.
Any pros and cons for Distrokid and CDBaby?

Distrokid (aka Spotify) shouldn't be on anyone's shortlist. Shady af. If you're serious about your career and trying to run a business there, do your research and see for yourself just how many people have been getting screwed over by many of these so called "distributors" you always see mentioned on these "best" lists. DIY as much as you can. Only farm out to reputable people who get paid when they make you money (incentive) - remember, they work for you, not you for them ;)
