TL;DR

Does anyone know what hidden files Atmosphere installs onto the disk drive? I've tried deleting files and reinstalling a few times but the same (expired) challenge code returns

I cloned a OS 9 PowerMac G4 disk image with working Spectrasonics Atmosphere 1.01 VST onto a SSD running OS 9 on a PowerBook G3 and after installation and running Live 4.14, I'm prompted with a challenge / response check.

When I generate a response code with the Keygen on Windows, the VST says it has expired.

How are you using the keygen "on Windows"? v1.01 will work on OS9, because it is a minor revision.
That's why it is rejecting your code as invalid. Only the very last comment in that post above is relevant.

Ask the AI how you can run a Windows executable on OS9. I'm not even going to screw around with this time drain.

You can't just run a keygen on another machine running Windows. The keygen normally needs to be run on the computer where you are installing the software; in your case, Atmosphere. Unless you find other information showing that you can just run the keygen on any random Windows machine, this is where you are getting an invalid or later rejected key.

Hi, I'm using the 6 CD Toast images to install Atmosphere v1. Running OS9.2.2. I've got it to work on my PowerMac G4 however when I cloned my HD to a different computer also running OS 9.2.2, there must be some hidden files I cannot find which is not letting the plugin generate a new challenge code for me.

Does this make sense? I've also tried to replace the v1 VST file with the 1.01 updated VST file, however this doesn't work!

 

Hi, thanks for your help. I've ran possibly hundreds of keygens on Windows before. It is general practice to run keygens on Windows machines as they are .exe files. Keygens just generate codes according to algorithms or challenge/response codes, it doesn't matter if it's run on a different computer than the one your software is installed on.

No, I don't have Spectrasonics.Atmosphere.Module.VSTi.KEYGEN.ONLY-TALiO - but I think I should try this. Let me know if you have any idea where to find it

Unfortunately, I'm not a Mac user, so I can only help you to a limited extent.

1. First, completely uninstall Atmosphere and delete all leftover files.
2. Reboot your computer and install Atmosphere CD1, CD2, etc.!
3. Then use the " Spectrasonics.Atmosphere.Module.VSTi.KEYGEN.ONLY-TALiO

Use our keygen to create a valid response code for the Spectrasonics authentication request.
Note: If you want to use this with the Levellers/SampleCD release, do NOT use their cracked .dll.
Simply install the module and use our keygen when asked for a response code.

1. Insert Atmosphere Disc 1 into your CD drive
2. The Setup prompt will appear: “This will install Atmosphere. Do you wish to continue?” (If the prompt does not appear, go to “My Computer” and double-click on your CD icon, and run setup.exe)
3. Clicking “Yes” will initiate the Atmosphere Setup Wizard prompt.

Moving the Atmosphere.dll file

It's the ArCTIC '03 keygen for Spectrasonics Trilogy which appears to be the same one used for Atmosphere and Stylus too (as I imagine the response algorhythm is the same) for all 3 plugins

i am well aware how good it is / was, i had it myself, just saying its old and as omnisphere has the atmo lib that would be a better choice imo
