I don't care one way or the other. It's not up to men to decide how women should present themselves. If more than half of men actually believe that, they're pretty dumb. Sounds like the kind of crap one reads on incel forums/manosphere. If someone can't tell how a woman looks, regardless of whether she's wearing makeup, they need to get their eyes checked.

I prefer more natural look, so without or with not much makeup. Also, not a fan of silicon parts and tattoos. That's my personal taste.
Ultimately, what they look like is their personal choice as it is mine to look like how I like to look like (pic to the left).
If they want to attract me, they have to look like what I prefer they look like.

if a woman wears make up and from a 5 becomes 10....and she dates you like that for 1-2 years. Is this ok? and its up to her?

Also many women deceive themselves more than they deceive us about the reality of the matter...Their brains become inflated 10x....some, not all, but many, if not most

Just take a look how they walk outside at nighttime at bars etc...they think they own this world, i think its deceiving

Yes, I agree that everyone should have their own standards of who they want to date, but relationships are not contractual agreements, and a date is not a job interview. You can't mandate how anybody represents themselves in front of you and, the rest of the world. If she or he wants to put on 15 pounds of Sephora on wherever part of their body, that is their own prerogative.

Take it from someone who has been married for over 15 years, You'll never win that argument.

 

I think a bit of color on my face brightens up this dreary world, and since it doesn't bother anyone, it's culturally acceptable. Maybe I should put on some eyeshadow tomorrow, but then there's a risk that men will hold the door open for me and address me as Mrs. X. The band Kiss is and was moving forward courageously.

Not sure what this is doing on an audio forum, but since the forum is called audiosex, maybe that's grounds for admission.

• One immediate response here is that makeup is to women what garlic is to chefs and cuisine: a smokescreen (too much garlic is the tell tale sign of a bad cook).

• Another response, less obvious perhaps, is that makeup is not intended for men (only indirectly).
  - The procreation function of women has no hormonal thermostat; as such some women have tempestuous hormones that materialize differently based on the individual (acne being the most obvious, but also debilitating pains, and dare I say it "moodswings"). Makeup is used to level the playing field so those lucky women with porcelain looking (and soft skin) don't get all the high value targets (like apples falling from the tree, when said tree is shook).

• Another angle worth considering, courtesy of my 25 year old Russian girl, is that makeup is very expensive. So much so, said Russian girl(s) expect(s) "man must pay." It's only fair, since they've spent $$$$ on makeup, mani-pedi, hair, dress, shoes, and purse, that the man should pay for everything else (note for the hard of hearing: everything means everything - no exceptions).

On a personal note, I was seeing a Meteorologist for a few weeks (she worked for a major network based in Burbank, iykyk). One day I came in earlier than usual, and she was just getting in the makeup chair. I saw her face without makeup for the first time. Now, she was very pretty everytime I saw her made up, but without makeup she was a knockout: drop dead gorgeous (with freckles too, which is rare for a Latina). So I told her: "You're much prettier without makeup." She replied: "That's what my father says, too."

To the point: acne due to hormonal storms (and binge drinking and eating junk food and processed snacks) notwithstanding, women are far more beautiful naturally, without makeup. Maybe a little sun kiss here and there, now and then. But some women feel they need help (with their acne, and boozing, eating junk food, processed snacks, etc).

Either way: "man must pay." As long as we've got that clear, the rest is smooth sailing (most days of the month).

 

I don't get it. Nobody's forcing anyone to date women who wear lots of make up?! Just limit your dating pool to women who go for a more natural look.

Dumb question, but do you think you're even in those women's dating pool to begin with? Cause, you know, this isn't a one way street.
