Here is a copy of the NFO text:

    Beyond The 15000 - Team R2R - 2025.03.23

It's time to make the change. For the next revolution!

TEAM R2R was setup in 2012. It has already been more than 10 years. There have been many changes since the beginning. CPU architecture, DRM, Windows Defender, Compression, Plugin Formats, etc...

After the long discussion in the group, we decided to concentrate on rebuilding our resources for the future.
We need to update essential codes, installer script, and other internal environment.

During the updating, we will stop releasing the most of our magic which depends on previous codebase.
The update will take many months, because there are really many things to refresh.

    [Patience is a virtue]

Here is the first updates : New NFO and RAR5 compression.
We can finally say good bye to WinRAR6 which was the last version supporting old compression!

Still bored? How about having fun by testing Serum2 releases by other groups? They are trying to crack without solving [famous encoding], [famous crypto], [famous hashing]. Not only the Steve's timebomb, you need to fight with the bugs which cracker added. Let's hope someone will make some real effort to reverse their licensing system ;)

I don't know about anyone else but I was fully expecting the 15k release to be the last before they retired but glad to see that's not the case.

2+ years, 800+ releases under ASSiGN and 13 years,15k releases under R2R is a fucking wild run and they still wanna keep going :wow:

They are basically saying (albeit politely) that all the Serum 2 releases of the last week are not properly cracked.

Good. Now we have an official answer for the next time somebody makes a thread asking if the witches died or something.

Yeah, but I mean they've got to start somewhere. Everyone remembers the Peace Out group right?

TCD releases have been mostly good so I'm not complaining.

With all due respect to other amazing teams in general, R2R, you are history. You have done and continue to do incredible things for the scene. We love you, thank you for everything, and I hope that besides the rush to update the codes, you can also get some rest!

No disrespect to the team, but nah R2R is not 'the history of Piracy'. More like 3rd, maybe 4th gen down the line of great ones. Windows all started with RADIUM at the end of the 90s. As a 30+ year 'Mac user' even I know that one.

And that's not even including the folks that cracked Cubase/Pro 24/Notator/Logic on the Amiga/Atari..

Do you realise without the developers you have nothing? This kind of comments comes from people who wants everything for free.

I don't think that is what it means.
More like stuff gets harder to do and takes longer with yesterdays tools.
I mean in that regard you could be right, with a more modern toolset maybe cracking xy gets done in a doable time span?
In the end I guess for them it's like we had to make an ancient x86 32 bit plugin run by bridging it and jump through hoops and that hundred times.

No-one cracked Notator 3.x or Logic (any version) on the Atari.
Notator 2.x was cracked (not completely well, it was still crashy), but the best someone managed for Notator 3 was to take the cracked Notator 2.x version and copy the version 3.x strings/dates/version numbers into it and pretending it was 3.x...

But let's not compare d*ck sizes here between teams which is pointless, a lot of teams have done a lot of good work, and R2R has done outstanding work for sure, and, unlike many of the others that have gone before, haven't retired yet and are still going.

Yeah its Radium, H20 and AiR. R2R has even said in many old nfo giving props to those before them. R2R is the best today but over history they are new kids on the block.
