I've tried different Kontakt versions and is always the same: a big oversized Kontakt UI that is cut off when you load some libraries. This only occurs as VST in cubase, not in Standalone version. Am I the only one? Because I didnt see any other similar resizing issues here either other places. And no solutions either.

Thank you for your help in advance

I've never had that issue and have used all the Kontakts from v5 to v8 (R2R, bobdule and Portable) in Cubase for a long time and looks like yours has a strange big border grey box around the actual Kontakt (GUI) and have never seen that ever before.
Where did you find the option for Cubase to resize the plugin? Because for me this one does not offer that option, although most others do. (You do not want Cubase to resize this plugin)
Here's how it looks with latest Kontakt 8 Portable and the latest Cubase 14 Pro:
    kon-1.jpg
Resize is now done in the actual Kontakt (GUI) or/and dragging the right bottom corner

In v6.8, it's always about 1/3 the size of the DAW screen in Logic when you first open it. The icon 2 to the right of the gear icon (settings) switches it from rack view to minimized view. Did they get rid of that option? Is this all a result of your "Portable" version?

You also have a lot of empty grey space bordering Kontakt in the image, with it launched inside a floating window like that. About 1/3 of its width is a waste of real estate. That also means you won't even get a benefit out of using multiple instances of Kontakt with a lower number of instruments loaded into them.

I've been testing and, while every instance has that grey empty space, not every one is cutted off. It looks like some libraries are cut off and some others not.
Scarbee Classic, for example, has full view:

Dragging the right botton corner its impossible when the library view is cut out, as you can check in second screenshot I shared in the first comment. And, in libraries with full view, like that Scarbee keys, the dragging option doesn't work as expected. It just let me make it a little higher and don't let me alter the width... :(

On the other hand, the resize/zoom option inside view Kontakt panel make this: ((I just want to cry))

Sorry for the Spanish, but I just right click the grey space and it's the last option.

I'm using the Kontakt 8 Portable 2.1 and Cubase 12 Pro. In the past years I have used Cubase 5 and 8 with several versions of Kontakt 5 and 6, and this never happened to me before. Now I was trying to make music again after a while and this annoying weird thing happens. I've not seen that grey empty space bordering too, in any of my researches about the issue. Only saw here another case of kontakt just getting cut off on the botton key zone because bad sizing too, but no grey extra bordering

Currently I'm working on a laptop with 1920x1080 resolution, with 125% rescaled (100% would be hard to read) recommended by Windows. Ah, and it's Windows 11.

I have seen that 2 or 3 times too recently with K8. But closing and opening the GUI always fixed it. If it happened it was always after loading a program in an empty Kontakt. Not 100% sure if this was standalone Kontakt or in Cubase 14 (or maybe both).

    Oh thats bad!
That it happened after I loaded an instrument in an empty Kontakt.
With close and open I mean minimize and maximize the window in standalone and in cubase close and reopen the kontakt window.

wow, thank so much, samsum!! I didn't get to find something so similar to my issue. The clicking QC tip surprise me and helps a little with grey empty bordering. However, it still don't fix the cut off GUI of instruments, and just works till I close and open again that kontakt window, resetting the grey space again...

Also, I've updated Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable in case it helps, but it didn't. Anyway,

Thank you so much for your time and involvement in this. This issues sometimes are so frustrating to lead with. T.T

You can try the Kontakt 8 gui tweaker in the helper folder of kontakt 8 portable
Mine is set to direct3D (default)

You're welcome... sounds like the border issue around Kontakt (Gui) was to do with Cubase 12 so make sure you have the latest update for that version as they probably issued a fix. Can you not drag the bottom corner of Kontakt to the right or change View>Zoom % (Percentage).
Does that make a difference at all? Also make sure Cubase to allow to resize Window option is (unticked/disabled)
Also try this in Kontakt View> Set view settings as default to see if it remembers/saves display settings for next time it is opened up.
    kon3.jpg
Failing not being able to update Cubase 12 with any newer fixes or being able to fix you issue fully then I would install Cubase 13 or 14.
    Hope you get it sorted

Thank you for the suggestion, I hadn't try that before! But that have not worked too.

Yep, I have tried all of that.I guess I'll have to upgrade to a new version of Cubase, as you suggest. I'll try it out later as soon as I can. I'm currently in the middle of a video game jam as a composer, and time is running out. Thanks for the help and quick replies! <3

No worries :) the only other thing I can suggest is in Cubase Edit > Preferences... General
set your HiDPI Settings for the Display to [Use System Setting] like this:
    kon4.jpg
    and Apply and Close Cubase.

Then change your Windows Scaling settings to what you need
(I personally use 150% Scaling on 4K monitor) like this:
    kon4a.jpg
Then re-open Cubase and see how it looks and change settings accordingly within Windows and have a play around.
Let us know how you get on, when you get some time after jamming.
You can also make Text Size bigger in Windows (if needed):
    kon5.jpg
Cubase 12 latest version should be Cubase 12.0.70
