I saw Heart and Ted at Mile-high stadium in Denver. Heart was the loudest thing I had ever heard up to that time. Until Ted came out and was louder, that is. We gave up about 4 songs in and decided to beat the rush to get out. Ted was still loud in the parking lot.

Yea, Nugent is exactly as you described. I don't any more go there, probably since the mid 80's.

As a former Gary Numan fan club 'Numanoid', I was mortified to find out he was a Thatcherite.

(Note: This is a matter of taste but what a special decade this was in terms of pop culture...)

    Thank you. :shalom:
I don't usually almost reply, but I will take this opportunity to write my thoughts.

I believe that music from non-English speaking countries is full of originality.
Africa still has interesting music, although amapiano is now gaining citizenship in English-speaking countries.
South America and Latin regions also have their own musical cultures, and there is always something new to discover.
Asia, in particular, is a very interesting region to study because of the diversity of languages, scripts, cultures, and ethnicities in different countries, as well as the diversity of music. The word “Asia” can be divided into so many categories: Southeast Asia, West Asia (Middle East), East Asia, North Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and so on.
The song by Nogizaka46 that I posted the other day has lyrics that are not so-called “poetry,” but rather aphorisms or sentences that like appear in novels. In other words, they are “sentences” rather than “lyrics”. And the lyrics are esoteric.
I had never heard a song with such lyrics before, and I remember being shocked when I heard it for the first time.

Thus, I think you will find it very interesting if you search around.
I hope you will also look into the music of various countries. Your sense of values about music will be overturned.
And it will be a stepping stone for tomorrow.
