the age old question but I just wanted to ask specifically for softube. Maybe some of you already have experience with this?

I wanna buy the legit amp room vintage suite since it's on sale but was wondering how that'd work with my cracked softube products. I have tape, spring reverb, etc. but I'm mainly worried about the other amp room plugins, i.e. the Marshall plexi, Marshall blues breaker, etc. cause they interact in some way. I'm assuming the legacy amp rooms would have to go (meaning "vintage amp room" would make way for the newer "amp room vintage suite")?

I use legit and cracked ones without problem, except when Console 1 comes to the picture. The old cracks are not usable anymore with the latest versions. As for Amp room, my guess is that you can still use the cracked amps as standalones but not inside amp room itself...

 

Just Avoid using softube Central to install and register your plugins - you can download them from the site without using softube central
