Massgrave released MAS 3.0, you know, the way to activate Windows (and Office if you're so inclined), a very technical blog post here: https://massgrave.dev/blog/tsforge

What's interesting is that it can activate ESU (Extended Support Updates) which can keep things like Windows 10 or Server 2012 updated till 2028. Normally you get these post-EOL updates if you pay big bucks to Microsoft.

It sounds awfully technical and hard, but it's really just running one file. I'm pretty sure this will be slipstreamed to many lite images and whatnot, so be on the lookout.

    Have fun!

WOW! That is HUGE! Just grabbed 2.9 the other day for a build and didn't see this one. TsForge even does win7ult!!! THAT is massive! Never paying ms jack shit for the crap they are putting out. They should be paying us for all the end user reverse engineering it takes to get one of their cheezy spyware-laden OEM telemetry builds running so it's safe, lean and clean to use either on or offline.

I love that MAS is as "legit" as they come. It's silently MS approved (it's on GitHub, after all) as they can't really do much about it, and the whole thing is the most working and least hacky way to activate pretty much all MS has to offer.

But yeah, ESU is indeed massive. I never got along with LTSC versions, and I never really figured out why, so the possibility to keep whatever else activated and up to date is just fantastic.

Thank you Massgrave folks, you're an epic bunch!

Bit of a tangent, but I hope current and future shot-callers at Microsoft understand that if Windows piracy is ever clamped down on, Windows will stop being relevant in less than a decade.

Once I tried this activator I've never looked back. It's just the best for my needs.
    I'll check the new method.

Edited: holy shit, the TsForge new method looks impressive

How does this work with multi boot systems?

If I have a system with 3 4TB NVMe drives and have them set up as:

    1. Windows 11 Pro 24H2 - Daily Driver, general work stuff, hobbies, and used for latest updates to see what's up
    2. Windows 11 Pro 23H2 - Studio OS and drive for music production
    3. Windows 10 Pro 22H2 - Gaming OS and used for caduao gaming
I have the 3 drives imaged and backed up, and have the BCD exported and backed up too, so seems to be a robust setup and should withstand any issues, failures, or reinstalls.

However, they are all currently activated with a digital license embedded in the motherboard's BIOS/UEFI and all running fine.

I'm interested in this due to the possibility of extending Windows 10 lifespan as it still seems to be the best OS for some of the games I play.

Doesnit overwrite the motherboard digital licenses? How does it work in a multi-Os multi boot environment?

Uhmm, dunno if I would call it "legit" or even that it's because it's on github. It's available from a variety of sources. Been using the power shell scripts for win/office activation for years before "mas" came along. They are available from torrent mostly. They work just as slick as the mas scripts do. The "mas" scripts are great because it uses ms's own tech to store and activate the "licenses". As far as it being "sanctioned" by mickeysoft, I'm pretty sure there's no truth there.

Maybe setup a dual boot virtual server and try it out that way?? HWID requires that the system be internet connected in order for the script to work correctly. Which is why for offline machines that will never have a internet connection I use one of the older pre-MAS scripts to activate. I guess now with TSForge internet isn't needed to get the same perma-activation as HWID.

Of course it's not endorsed or sanctioned by MS, but they are certainly aware of it, and they make no effort to remove it from their own platform (GitHub).

This always makes me grin: https://www.techspot.com/news/97976...port-used-pirate-script-activate-windows.html

What? The Digital Hardware method does that?
It's the best hands down, and includes Office.
Technically the best is the KMS online, but needs internet for activation once every three months. When I say technically the best I mean it's undetectable. Unless some program can check your license ID isn't made up, which only Msoft database can say.

Yes. I install my OS using the generic Pro license option from Schneegans (which shows up as a Windows 10 Pro key when checking) and I have my legit key already embedded in the BIOS/UEFI for Windows 11 Pro. Not sure how, but it then shows that all 3 OS' are actuvated, being my Windows 10 Pro and two Windows 11 Pro.

Are your Windows partitions on the same physical drive?

wasn't that like 7 floppy disks? still it was better than windows 95 at like 28 floppy disks, one read error and you blew an afternoon for nothing. I prayed as each disk was swapped out for the next. and they said science would destroy religion....

As always, the master boot record had disappeared (Microsoft's revenge) and whoever had the 12 boot disks was in luck...!
With the 12 disks inserted one after the other, the master boot record could be restored.

My work colleague had installed Linux at the time and spent the whole day trying to install his printer without success (Linux's revenge)!
