Ey my friends, im composing a theme for a film based on chicagos´20. I have a little piece but it sounds very clean if you compare with the recordings of that time.

Do you know some plugin to simulate that effect of noise of tape recording from that old music?????

    For mac please.

    Thanks a lot

Wow, impressive list Gramofon (I expected that from a guy with that nickname  )

btw he was asking for Mac plugs, so the only one is iZotope Vinyl.
Uh, and the luxonix from your list, but I can't imagine anything that can't be done with your daw built-in effects.
Used to love the Ravity back in the days.

Good list for windows users anyway, so thanks ! :mates:

If your a nebula user there's a alexb one too called vinylizer
it has a gramophone, old deck, jukebox, modern turntable in tube and solid state ,same with vintage vt and ss

I should also recommend cdsoundmasters R2R as it has old tape machine emulations.
If you just want tape and old tubes there's some free plugins from them here as well http://cdsoundmaster.com/site/cds-software-online/demos.html
    which are fully functional

Toneboosters has some tape sim stuff like http://www.toneboosters.com/tb-ferox/
    http://www.toneboosters.com/tb-reelbus/

Waves has http://www.waves.com/plugins/kramer-master-tape (but EW their marketing)

    Both vendors make for mac.

Or make your own with a lopass, hipass, reduce stereo width, noise+spike generator, etc

Personally I like to use Izotope Vinyl, a little bit of downsampling, and a tape plugin at the end of the chain. You can really get some cool vintage effect going on ! If you don't feel like tweaking for hours, Izotope Vinyl by itself is really nice and it's free :D
