The ideal tool for mixing, mastering or DJ & PA work - the new M/S controller gives you easy control of Mid ('phantom center') or sides content.

An intuitive GUI provides you only what you need - clear easy knobs and value readings, with precision level bars for each channel (L/R and M/S).
Based on floating point calculation, the M/S controller is an accurate and true to the original material. Expect zero artifacts.

They're getting Phantom center and M/S confused.

This is your usual M/S imager like Voxengo MSED, etc (also free). M/S imagers don't have phantom center capabilities - it's just a simple sum/difference. I can tell because soloing the sides gives an effectively mono signal. Won't give any artefacts. And 0 latency/PDC (which this is).

Phantom center like Waves center, AOM Stereo imager D, QuikQuak Mashtactic, etc, operate via FFT and can actually hone in on the phantom center and soloing the sides gives a true stereo signal. May give artefacts. Usually pow2 PDC.

All/most of these plugs i've mentioned should have mac versions.

    Well said junh1024
Nice that hand written diagram, love it !
Nothing new, there already 10 free MS encoders/decoders.
    This doesn't even encode/decode, just a M/S panorama control.
It may be useful for someone though, if you just need that function it delivers.
I'll stay with my Voxengo MSED (and brainworx stuff too  ).
Thanks for the info anyway :mates:
