Hey, me too!

As I rarely follow what's happening in films I had no idea about it but it was recommended to me by a friend. "You'd like it" and I got into a huff and thought "what, me like a film? not gonna happen, I'll watch it and tear it to pieces, that'll show him!" (yes, I'm a grown adult). So I went in with zero idea what it was about and ended up really really liking it.

A special mention has to go to the sound design and music, it was just as quirky and bizarre as the film itself. That by itself kept me twisted throughout the thing.

So umh, yeah, if you like your films somewhat weird, then I'd recommend it. It's not going to be for everyone, but then again, what is?

 

well at some point everyone learns how to torrent, but there are websites as well that you can watch them from.

Make sure you have a vpn, it will block your internet provider from knowing what you are doing, and it will also allow you to route around broken DNS links and also targeted propaganda.

fer instance, i'm in the states, but right now I'm vpning into the world from Finland. the news I get on google news and the propaganda stories selected for me there and on reddit are very different from what I would get using a usa vpn location. Also all the sites are polite and ask me about privacy settings, if I come in from the states there is usually no privacy settings.

I recommend VLC as a media player because it has very good support on subtitles and many foreign films never get english dubs, so subtitles are the only window to access these films.

Qbittorrent is a good software client for torrenting on windows platforms, at least.

also if you have a fat pile of dosh making a lump in your mattress, you can find most of these in various formats on dvd bluray, but you have to watch that the regions are correct for your player. ie UK blurays don't play on standard US bluray players, even though the languages are very similiar.

Ebay is a good source of used dvds and blurays, if you stumble on something you want to own physical copies of. I probably have a a 45/1 ratio of electronic releases versus physical media. Electronic is just easier to store, sort and replay, than real physical disks.

good luck and those films are worth the effort, the Korean movie scene has produced some titles much better than hollywoods last 25 years. I can give you some other titles after you find a method of acquisition.
