On sister site you can find Aurally Sound Song Master PRO 2.7 that is really good both for stem separation and MIDI transcription and it's only 187 Mbytes size.

 

Thanks Theo I didn't know any of those will check it out. Audio to midi will be cool specially if could give you the synth and bass notes accurately. But I guess technology is not there yet.

 

Can you tell me about your use case for this?

Because

• If I want to learn music, listening is the most basic skill anyway (ok, that‘s IMO, I have to admit)
• If I want to generate music, I don’t need midi conversion, the AI will listen and generate.
• If I need midis of popular songs they‘re already available
• If I want to compose a score based on some melody I whistled into my phone, i only need monophonic conversion

The only use case I can imagine is to transcribe an improvising band.

But what do I know? Would you mind telling us do you plan to use it?

You can also use a stem seperation tool and then auto-convert the audio information of each stem into MIDI data using the free Neural Note or Samplab plugins (I think free version of Samplab only allows for maximal audio length of 10s though).
