Hi there,
with my quite recent i7-4770K CPU-equipped desktop and 16 GB RAM I thought about some of our members who aren't that lucky to get PC with such specs. Therefore I'd like to lend those of you my CPU power, when you need for example to render a project that's impossible to load on your machine.
For now, I only have REAPER, so if you could compress your project and send them, I'd render stems no problem (or ReaMote via Hamachi).
Video projects are also possible - Sony Vegas 10.0 project files could be rendered to anything you'd choose.

Other solutions are welcomed (though I'd like to minimize amount of warezed software on my machine).


Maybe you'd ask, why am I offering this??
Simple, in 2010 I needed to render huge video project with very intensive processing (motion-based deinterlacing) and at that time my only machine was P4 2.4GHz desktop and that project would take 300 hours to render, so I was stuck and the video was never released. I wouldn't like anyone here to feel that 'desperate'. *yes*

 

I have absolutely no use for it, but your gesture is so noble that it should be saluted.

 

Would you accept Porn projects i got some RAW footage that needs processing.. Can you also do visual effects?

nope music and gameing so yea fast cpu fastest ddr3 ram on the market (g-skill trident x at 2800 mhz 3 solid state drives 2 hard drives and a hybrid solid state hard drive drive )

 

May I ask how power efficient is your machine? E.g. idle and under load consumption?
Mine is 17W idle and 50W under full load (CPU+GFX), which is better than some laptops .

i7-4770K is underclocked from 3500MHz to 3000MHz and undervolted from 1.064V to 0.840V
RAMs are undervolted to 1.35V
GFX is HD7750 - I keep that undervolted as well, it's passive version and never gets hotter than 60°C.

For me speed isn't everything, it's the efficiency that wins the match.
