HyperSonic 2 is probably too old and the new Windows and the new FL Studio require an updated HyperSonic.

I have an older 32-bit version of Studio One installed on my Windows 11 - 64-bit: PreSonus - Studio One v2.6.5 - 32-bit

I've been doing this for years so that I always have a 32-bit DAW for my 32-bit plugins.

Install the 32 bit version of: Synapse Audio Orion 8 v8.6 Incl Keygen-R2R

 

I also tried to install Hypersonic 2. (win10)
Did not work, or did not appear in reaper.
Since I still had the old version Hypersonic v1 installed, I looked in the directory: Hypersonic 2 dll is shown as Hypersonic without the “2 ”.
So i renamed the dll to Hypersonic 2.
with the result, vsti runs in reaper.
maybe it helps.

 

Sorry to say that, but you need to use another DAW.
FL studio is VERY unstable with a lot of third party plugins.

I bet if you use Reaper, it will work.

 

Some people love the intuitive way Hypersonic works and its multi-timbral "stack console" for quick layers and occasionally i still get asked if i can install Hypersonic on their modern machines/OS. The other usual suspect that follows the same trend in my side of Mediterranean Europe, is Darbuka/Latigo.
All who face problems should try bridging the Hypersonic 32bit dll with JBridge. I successfully installed a bridged version (from 32bit to 64) on Win 10 /Cubase 12 some months ago. All worked, expansions too. I don't see any reason why it should not work the very same way in Win11 and any other daw.

Yes, FL Studio is problematic when you run Hypersonic for the first time.

You should point in popup window Hypersonic where its library files are placed. FL Studio doesn't open it.

1. Try another DAW, for example Reaper, point to the folder and then return to FLS.

2. Try to use "Set HS2 Content Location.exe" which should be shipped with installer.

3. Also try to run FL Studio itself as administrator. It is needed only for the first run.

Hypersonic works fine on Windows 11 for me but I always have troubles to start using it after fresh installation.

If you're saying you had it working on Win10, and you recently did a fresh install of Win11, I would install Win10 -> Install Hypersonic2 and Daw to confirm working -> upgrade to Win11.

 

Unfortunately win11 (and all of those os's going forward) is absolute crap for backward compatibility with many third party software's that are even just 1 or 2 years old. Rather ridiculous... If you want a chance at running Hypersonic at all I would suggest installing win7-ult, or second best choice win10 preferably 21H2. Remember that Hypersonic-2 is still the OG VST (before even VST2) which more recent DAW's may not even recognize.

Hi to everyone, I'm also a long time Hypersonic estimator and have installed this version: "Steinberg - Hypersonic 2.0 (Rebuild SynsoEmu)" with JBridge. I'm on Win 10 with Cubase 14 R2R and it works with no problems (the same with all previous Cubase versions).
On Steinberg support site there is still a link to "Hypersonic 2 · Full Installer · ISO Image · 2.2 GB" (needs a license).

 

Ive been using Hypersonic since version one & when people are always after faster/quicker/update PCs/Laptops!! They will lose out on these legend vsts! Because they become obsolete & no longer available! & i always keep an old laptop/HD with all the old 32 bit plugins working! Maybe some wizard one day will create an updated version of Hypersonic or maybe keep pestering steinberg to bring it back!

 

No, I and many others have not renamed the .dll, I would leave it as it is.
You should perhaps get a second DAW to test plugins. That way you can find out what is causing the errors.

 

damn guys I almost got it working through Jbridge with the help of SylenthWillFall but the stand alobe crashed immediate and the VST loaded but will shake and freeze lol. It wouldn;t let me resize or move it, but the samples were working. We tried to reisntall again and now nothing is working.

That's my final solution. But I want to try all the solutions suggested here before downgrading to Windows 10
