The R2R steiny crack "changes the computer structure" as well. The only difference being that the R2R crack makes you do it all manually instead of the process being automatic like V.R's.. Someone above said something about easily updating when new versions are out, DL'ing the OEM version, etc, etc... I have been doing the same thing with V.R. versions for quite some time. I have no idea if one or the other "performs better" or not. I think that's all just subjective nonsense. I will tell you that with EITHER version you're gonna get better performance anyway because there's no system hits incurred by "protection checks" every 2 seconds... With V.R's you install the OEM tools (via OEM installers, MediaBay and Activation Manager, etc) and run the authorizer once for each product. Subsequent updates are effortless and new products to the system are activated by a simple run of the auth tool.

 

Before you start writing unnecessary opinions, please read @Hennessey comments, where everything is explained in detail.

 

Before you start running off into oblivion please realize my "opinion" is from actual real world usage. I could care less what you think, my description is accurate enough and comes from using the stuff not conjuring up what-if scenarios. No need to read "comments". I have actually ran BOTH the R2R and V.R. solutions and from the standpoint of the user the V.R. solution is by far the easiest to implement, IMO. As far as performance, the stuff runs without fail and better than legit in most cases, for obvious reasons. As far as issues I have experienced, none have been related to the V.R. "solution", only original code bugs present in all legit versions.

what's different between V.R and U2B in macOS for Cubase Pro 14.0.x ?
i used V.R release in macOS working like legit without any bugs and ...
but 14.0.10 still not released by V.R , it's only U2B release
can i use U2B ? this release working like V.R ? stable , non-bugs ?

I have had great sucess installing but the thing that is bugging me is that I cannot get the download assistant to work when I open it asks me to log in. I did the copy paste trick after I installed the Download assitant..

I must be missing somthing. Thanks for all the great help here.

I was going to say not to say RTFM...Read my post carfully before you tell me to read the NFO.
There is Nothing in the NFO about making the download manager/assistant work....Duh !

@iw If you don't want to help don't argue with me. One of the most respected contributers here said that you can use the "download app."
I know that the NFO says
"* No SteinbergLibraryMangager is required (optional).
* No SteinbergActivationManager is required.

AND the activation manager folder is required for the Cut and paste trick...

The Downoad Assistant just makes it one click....making the install easier.
The NFO does not even mention the Download assistant. However the user "Patatern" says he uses it. But I can't get it to work.

to use the Steinberg download assistant you MUST register an account on the Steinberg site with a VALID email

use a generic email, it is safe

OTHERWISE, you could easily find direct links to Steinberg servers, they make them public, but it's obviously less convenient. The download manager works fast and it's 100% safe with R2R's emulator.

Cubase PRO now just opens as ARTIST. Any one has the same issue?

R2R has Own Silk Emulator , This is same as Steinberg silk ! Which is perfect , you can have all steinberg product without wait for K'D release , install R2R silk and use all steinberg official product

In macOS :
you ou have two option for use cubase :
V.R and U2B
V.R k'd in macOS is the same as V.R C14 Release In Windows !
Working like legit version
But U2B is not bad
If you want working cubase in macos use v.r
