So they sell new amp models every day, and that is why it is popular? :dunno: It might be because people are spoiled with the digital world, and they want 100s of amps instead of one good sounding amp like how Mercuriall or Neural DSP do it.

When the quantity goes up, the quality goes down! Simple old rules.

See how Neural DSP even has modeled the amp in different knob positions! This requires a lot of data, which doing it for 100s of amps requires a huge effort.

The poll allows a limited number of options. Because of that, I did not include the old amps that are not updated recently (other than Lepou).

I have quite a few of the ones on the list along with the AXE FXII. The plugin sims have all been pretty even in my opinion, but some of them take quite a bit more time invested to get them sounding great. Once in a mix I often can't recall which ones I used unless i kept notes. Some days the one or ones I use are just an experiment to get to the perfect tone. I admit I love the tweaking process. It slows the actual production time per song, but to my ears I do find the right magic I'm looking for most of the time. I love the number of options available. In the early days of my using amp sims, the options were definitely limited. Definitely not the case today! The more sims out there the better as far as I'm concerned.

    still no quad cortex
still no quad cortex? i would definitely think it should be included. especially since you have several of the neural dsp plugins included already. you could almost just remove the ndsp plugins altogether and just substitute the quad cortex as its just neural's hardware unit that you can get all of the plugin tones out of anyway.

I tried the Kazrog AmpCraft 1992 recently and was pleasantly suprised, was very decent and cheap as well. For context I have an AxeFx3 and about 30+ other amp modelling VSTs so it has some stiff competition.

It looks like Neural would be running away with it if not for the poll splitting the votes... I call shenanigans!!
