Why don't the new features of this version work, are they so hard to crack? Ok, I Understand that Splice Integration needs online connection, but why don't the other features work?

 

Can you tell me which ones they are?

If you absolutely need all of that, you have to buy it. You lived with Studio Without before without these additional things. Certainly not a satisfactory answer. You can do without the additional synths, it's nothing really new, you're not missing out on anything.

 

No, I don't need any of this, I'm just asking out of curiosity as I can't understand, for example, why stem separation doesn't work, it's something that is "written" into the program and is not affected by whether or not there is an online connection....
Anyway, I tried version 7, but I'm stuck and working with version 6.6.4.

 

Those are extension and need to be shared with r2r with license so they can release them also license is needed to update the keygen

There shouldnt be any reason why those extensions won't work, except the fact that PreSonus does its best to hide them.
I've bought Studio One, I still have the hosts file IP blocks and splice works.

I've a question for those in the know...

I've not ever used Studio One and would like to slowly extended audition the latest reversed to revolutionize version as I'm more a live recording guy and Studio One might fit my work flow better than FL Studio that which I've been using since version 5. Do I really need to download that huge download package if I'm never going to use their samples, and in addition I'm totally self sufficient in the synth and plugin category.

Im on my way to download the Content, not sure what's in it. To get the best experience of S1, you need the content partially because all the presets for the stock plugins are in it. You won't be needing the whole soundset but only some of it, as an example, the content for the OpenAir (Convolution Reverb). I'll see how my installation goes in a bit and maybe see how much of it you need to install to get the full S1 experience without all the loops packs.

EDIT :

I think you only need the Impulse Responses content to run the StudioOne7 if the instruments aren't your concern. It still optional but it is pretty good. You can choose not to install it.



Some of the stock plugins presets are in the "Legacy and Compatibility", the rest is just stock Instruments library and loop libraries.

You do not need to install this package. Studio One will work completely without this package.

 

All we need now is the Extensions packages. I believe the older R2R released ones aren't compatible because they are patched.

among other things. Since they don't need patch anymore, legit users can supply/share it right away. @Lois Lane you might want to install some of these too.

 

I used Studio One years ago, but it was very slow, and was a CPU hog. I ended up with Reaper. It ran very well, and wasn't a
resource nightmare.
Since a drop of the recent "gift", I may give it another try with a more modern computer.

 

I believe this is the case for the extensions, last week i installed v7.0.1, placed the vcruntime140.dll file then proceed with R2R keygen to generate license files then installed extensions from previous releases v6.x.x none of these worked despite generating license files from v7 keygen
I believe v7 is not patched (same as Ableton v12) which comes with that .dll file that does the job !?

 

I had the same problem, but I have posted a thread about it here and someone helped. Apparently all of them needed to be reinstalled. If you're still with the the older style R2R license, you can just find the extension releases and reinstall them back. That's all you need to do if you already have the licenses for it inside the PreSonus Program Data folder. They won't work with the new Sphere R2R release only, but works fine with the older licensing method. I have to wait until someone post the MixLegend and FatChannel at least, I have them in every project.

 

You can remove the entire Presonus folder in ProgramData and AppData which should result in the clean reinstall. Also, I downloaded the free "Navigation Essentials" from the Harmony Wizard developer and it actually worked. It's technically a free extension but it's official and unpatched .install file which didn't work before. So the official extensions should work now. A bit sad to see that Harmony Wizard got DMCA on sister site
