Can someone explain to me, is this right folder organization or not ?

 

If you are asking if the order is correct, the answer would be yes, but if you are asking if the expansions are supposed to be in the "Folders" section, the answer would be no

 

I noticed if you just unblock the refx sites in the hosts file real quick when adding a new extension it automatically updates the json and then just immediately block it again. easier than editing the json file manually in my case

 

i found 2 things to correct.
the factory library 5 ask for missing samples in ROM folder, even if present...but


use the log panel to know what sample is missing.
in fact, to get only the factory library fully working, you 'll need to get these samples:
Rom (the basic legacy library) rename in ROM may help
Rom4WT
ROM5

others are even not needed.


another anomal thing is the regedit path for Native Instrument:
ContentDir c/windows/NKS
installVST64 C/programs/steinberg/vst plugins (with the VR setup, i didn't checked legit)

it should be corrected as this, and komplete kontrol will load it (browser view off)



if you want to edit the library path in settings.json, (the included tool works)
C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\NEXUS
you can use double slash this way \\ or \/, and nexus will overwrite \\ after opening.

because all on the interface is small, you just play with one finger sequences to feel as doctor mix


if someone share the unmodified setup, maybe we can watch what is done in the original vst path, also what VR use to break it.
(for custom experience purpose)
original and patch package enable this, compare the files to show the magic.

Don't expect the moderators to do it for you

But you can easily do it yourself in three simple steps:


1. Edit you post and activate all the text you want to include in the spoiler:



2.In the Taskbar of the editbox click on the 4th icon from the ricght side and then on "Spoiler"



3. Enter the title of the spoiler and then click on Continue...


In the text of your post the chosen text is now embedded in the tags "Spoiler" and "/Spoiler".
You can even cut those tags out and move it if you like.
As soon as you Post your Text the spoiler is shown.

You shouldn't have done quite so much work. The first thing is to find a systematic error...so a few examples would have been enough, like

Code:

AR At The Beach (Pluck) uses--> PL Pretora.nxs Layer1
AR Climax 128BPM uses--> SupSaw EnsO in Layer1, Kick MelTech Layer2
AR Far From You uses--> LD Toronto Layer1

All reside in N5 factory presets (..\NEXUS library\Samples\ROM5\) and all work as intended.

Also I downloaded the library from the sister site and found all those .nxs files
So it is not only functioning in the legit version but also in the k'd one.
I'm sorry but that seems to be an error on your side mate.

I have Mixcraft 10.5 Pro Studio Nexus 5.1.6 the libraries do not show up. Please can you paste your path to the library so I can match it.

 

I would try to keep it simple if I were you. Think about what could be the cause and escalate from there.
The simplest answer would be an error installing the Library or an error in the installed library.
So I would suggest to re-download it from a trusted source, delete the old one in "Nexus Library" folder

...\Nexus Library\NKS\N5 Factory Presets
...\Nexus Library\Presets\N5 Factory Presets
...\Nexus Library\samples\ROM5

and install the newly downloaded instead. So you don't need to touch the rest of your N5 installation just the N5

A quick heads up to folks grabbing expansions. Make certain the .svg file is included in the DL distribution archive. Some of the v4 expansions are floating around with the .svg files missing which makes it difficult to make the expansion appear correctly in the synth.

 

Does anyone have the updated Melodic Techno.svg file?
Or no such file exists

The solution:
This was not what I wanted but I’m afraid this is the only way, and it works.

One need to put all the ROMs in the “Nexus 5 Content/Samples” folder ;
Rom
Rom4WT
ROMEx2
ROMEx3
ROMEx4
ROMExt

And of course the Factory Presets in the “Nexus 5 Content/Presets” folder.

5.1.6 work perfectlly in ableton 12.1.5.
only a dirty auth alert at launch in the log windows.... pointing in vain to zefx.com (as zetas fx) for license download.

all the reFX website svg files.
to paste here: C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\reFX\cloud\cache\images
