tl;dr (come on it's less than three minutes long) The "AI protection program" is actually a massive scam that will make you sign away your rights to all the AI-generated content based on your music to private equity forever. Don't opt in.

Thanks for the warning, finally some critical thoughts on artificial stupidity.

Here in the EU, that is in Europe, we already have the first laws to protect copyright. The big investors just want to rake in a few more dollars, because money is looking for investment opportunities and returns. They don't care which musicians have worked hard for it, but they also have to abide by the law.

It's a good thing that Team R3R is not listed on the stock exchange and operates independently in the underground.

The first thing one must learn in business (in every business) DO NOT sign anything unless you have written it. Or at least you fully (=100%) understand it.

Kinda pointless posting at this point. The agreement wanted us to sign by 6th December. Looks like I've already checked it in November.

It will probably improve my tracks to be fair :)

It will give you nothing. They'll take your library, sell it to an AI vendor and then all your ideas will be reproduced by AI for free for everyone.

Equal to what I'm getting now... Equal to what I'm ever likely to get from music in this era... Where's the loss?
