In the latest release that MORiA posted on the sister site, they mentioned this "Avid Pro Tools v2024.6 Unpace Utility v3.13 U2B [MORiA]" as only method to have the aax working in Pro Tools.

Has it ever been officially released somewhere out there in the woods?

 

Does this allow you to use K'd AAX in legit pro tools?

 

I PM’ed MORiA. Am waiting for a reply. There was a mac rtas unpacer about 15 years ago that worked. Fingers crossed.

I don't know what k'd aax is.. But I have legit PT since few months. Some plugs from sister site work (waves, Arturia, Izotop, kazrog, some overload, noise ash,..)
I don't know If other plugs work without blueCat

K'd plugs are modified warez). the ones you mentioned, do not have the plugins modified but the auth system itself

Just to clear things up a little: AAX are encrypted (or signed is the better word I guess) and PT knows when an AAX is patched and refuses to load. That is why some plugins work (keygened) and others dont (patched). You can check in the .nfo: if there is AAX* with an asterisc, it is patched and does not work on legit PT, if its plain AAX it works.

Yeah, I found this out, I had a sub to PT Studio and couldn't get some of my plugins to work, most I could live without, but Superior Drummer 2 not working was the deal breaker......

 

I wish MORiA or any other team could help us making all these plugs working

If you use the Audioutopia 12.5 or the 2021.7 R2R workaround you can use any "modified" AAX plugins, but in newer legit PT you can't....

 

I missed that train. Now am with legit PT, but still find some plugins in sister site that work fine, and as soon as I have money I get legits.

Im completely joking. Whenever we have the money to buy the digital goods we want, we should—but I don't like Avid's lockdown system of doing it.
It looks more unprofessional in front of clients, but for personal projects, use a VST Wrapper like Patchwork.
