This method will go into the extensions and the preset will load, but the preview won't play.

 

delete the part "Artist series " from the foldernames within NKS, Presets folders and it works

For Example for 7 Skies the folder you copy should read "XP 7 Skies" instead of "XP Artist Series 7 Skies".

Did the preview work before?

 

Can anyone please help me out?
Nexus 5 key range/zones, i cant seem to get the Seq files to play the sounds i want throughout the whole keyboard they are always split into half of the keyboard (Full Kick Bass on the left half then a Piano on the right).
I found this easy with Nexus 4 and previous but finding it quite hard with Nexus 5? I only want the Kick and bass to play from C3 to G7 no piano.

Change the foldername "preview" to ".preview" in NKS the folder for every imported old Expansion and it will now work with preview sound.

There is another update - what issues does the v5.1.5 update [WIN] address?

 

my nexus 5 doesnt preview sounds even tho i have the nks files help please

 

I don't know if this works for expansions but if you right click a folder you can generate preview sounds, try doing it on expansions.

That maybe Nexus uses it as a kind of shell?

By now it's a constant shuffle with every new release in the hope of continually complicating people's lives (and this is true of many products out there), which is why many are dropping out and going elsewhere.

I have the feeling that they will eventually find themselves alone, with very few customers and users, and implode on themselves, just as happened with ProTools (by now a dinosaur wandering only with a silent desert around it).

Please don't dramatize unnecessarily. With a new product you should also give the company the opportunity to fix the bugs.
You will see that once everything is running smoothly, Nexus 5 will be one of the best software. reFX - Nexus 5 accesses a global market of 8.2 billion inhabitants. You have to subtract the users of cracked software from the number. Some of the users of tomorrow are not even born yet.

Feelings or beliefs are not knowledge. At the time, Pro Tools was the first well-functioning DAW alongside Steinberg Cubase that was also used in studios. Then, as is often the case in an economy, new players came onto the market such as Ableton, Studio One, Bitwig, Reaper and Sonar and that changed the market, or rather they became competitors to Pro Tools and with it the market share changed. It's the same with cars, you just have to make products that people buy. And sometimes companies disappear, like Cakewalk - Sonar, because there is no longer demand for their products.

 

I don't see what is the issue? It's absolutely normal for new product to iron out. In this case Nexus 5 has added features which didn't exist in earlier versions so you can expect some bugs of course.
