    I'm not offended, I'm not even the target for this product (I buy mainly hardware).
    But this type of "thread" doesn't bring anything useful, it only spread "hate" (or maybe better calling it "internet entropy")...for what? Trolling?

    Download the trial, post a video demolishing it against the competitors and then call it "abomination"; I will gladly watch it, pleased that my hardware purchases have a value.

    Never judge a book by its cover. I think it's the most realistic simulation of the sound of the Jupiter 8. You get the TH5 too. A stripped down version of the TH8. I did a comparision test and only the Roland Cloud version comes close to the raw authentic sound. With a filesize of 600MB it's not really a resource hog. With a decent multicore processor you can use multiple instances of the synth.

    Wouldn’t even spend time downloading it. Long time Acustica client here. After all the witches exposure I realised that I’ve wasted thousand of euros on crap. Never again.

    pass, there are already so many good jupiter 8 software versions.

    why not really recreate the JP80x0? or simply come up with something completly new, emulations over emeulations ...

    A bit of hyperbole is ok sometimes. I often think, "you couldn't pay me to use Protools". But the reality of that, is you certainly could.
    I agree with the sentiment, but it can't be that bad.

    I think before you develop something, you choose a target group that you can rip off for their money. And above all, the programming time has to be drastically reduced and costs saved. With Camel Audio - Alchemy, Ben worked on it for 4 years and often only ate bacon beans.

    Maybe a really good wavetable synth in a class of its own, similar to Pigments, but with a better sound than Pigment.

    Better support this company Togu Audio Line (TAL) TAL-J-8 emulates the legendary Jupiter 8 https://tal-software.com/products/tal-j-8 costs 59.50 EUR! In the videos they really blast the compressor and make it really loud.

    Alchemy was based on Cameleon 5000 i think, and then he simply expanded it to Alchemy.
    Eating bacon beans really was worth it, selling Camel to Apple, but lets not go offtopic here.

    Yeah Tal made a very good emulation, simple and easy and numerous others, i dont get why another emulation?
