Just installed Kontakt 7 (latest HCiSO version I could find). Same exact issue:

Did you truly uninstall everything properly? And I mean everything...

Yeah, get rid of it all and start over. You are probably piling bad upon worse (and with installers for libraries that are/were meant for a different system, and Kontakt and KLU2 is probably confused with that, and as Bob Dole noted above, you may have things in incorrect file paths etc....

You have to be fairly diligent and specific with how you do things, and follow KLU2's and Fred Blog's pdf and the whole thread of information on it correctly, or you are just gonna have a slop show unfortunately...

I know it works if done by the letter, as it is for me on m chipped Sonoma + etc with over 240 licensed libraries and thousands of other libraries....

I can try again and clean the system first with pearcleaner and then install 7 only.
I did however last time follow the PDF file exactly. I took my time and made sure it's all done as described.
I'll try again though with version 7. Maybe I got more luck.
I'm on Sequoia by the way. Hopefully that doesnt screw things up.

    Yeah, Pearcleaner is pretty good...

And remember you will have to reinstall said libraries again with KLU2, (and if it's still on your system, REMOVE all the libraries you installed through that app etc as I don't know what it's leaving lingering in terms of locations and everything else)... and I'm not sure your source of the libraries, but if you are getting old ones from Bob Dule's site, there can be problems with things like Abbey Road 60's drummer and whatnot as those are older installs intended for older versions and windows and whatnot, or maybe that's not a fair explanation (and I am certainly not casting any shade on Bob Dules fine works and offerings), but I seem to remember having some issues with some of those sourced there on my system earlier on... and removed them and replaced with different sources...

And Seqouia is fine with it from all accounts of everyone I have spoken to, and there is even a new update from HCiSO on Kontakt 7 that just dropped in the last hour...

ok, i think I know the issue. The libraries I'm adding are very old. I cleaned everything up and the na made a copy of a library and even deleted the old NCINT file and created a new one with KLU but that came up with a message sating if the librarires are old you have to add them with an old Kontakt version. I don't think that's possible because I don't think these old versions run on sequioa.

Maybe the only solution would be to find newer versions of those libraries if newer versions exist

Exactly, I know since you mentioned Bob Dule, and the gentleman has a nice repository of libraries on his site, the fact of the matter is some of those are quite ancient, and don't play friendly (at least on mac) as they were created prior to even the existence of NCINT's etc... (and btw, I don't suggest creating new NCINT's and one of the main providers here on the sister site in Talula will corroborate that, as it can end up messing with things in the long run... I just wouldn't...)... so I don't.

I get the latest version I can of any library etc, and use that, not ones from 2015 or whatever you know?

There is very little I haven't been able to install with KLU2 myself, and usually if I haven't been able to, it's been because, as you found, the libraries were too old, or that there was a problem in the packaging...
