Hey everyone,
I activated the Pro Tools trial and have been using it for 30 days.
The problem is that in both versions 2023.10 and 2024.10.1, it doesn’t show all the plugins I’ve installed.
It only recognizes plugins from around 15-16 manufacturers, even though I’ve installed more.
I’ve cleared the preferences and even reinstalled the software, but the issue is still there—not all plugins are showing up.

Is this because of the trial version's limitations, or is it a software issue?
From what I know, the trial version's only limitation should be the 30-day period.
The plugins were working perfectly in version 12.5, and they’re all new and fully updated.

 

Are you aware about rest of the plugins being legit or compatible with legit PT?

 

I think it is due to the limitations of the trial version, more likely limited access to plugins.
They are only supposed to test it and not make songs, they are supposed to buy it and then use everything.

 

The plugins I use are cracked.
I didn’t know that legit Pro Tools doesn’t support some cracked plugins.
That’s kinda interesting.
Not sure if the plugins are actually compatible or not, but it’s probably because they’re cracked.
That sucks.
But they work perfectly fine on cracked Pro Tools 12.5

I unistalled and installed , i removed preferences , not solved my problem

Modified aax won't work, because pro tools check integrity of plugins. You need to use vst3 wrapper. Or crack plugins in the way they don't modify aax but other files. Waves or arturia will work.

 

It is not due to the Trial. The trial is fully functional on the plugins, it doesn't limit any plugins. It is due to modified aax or cracked plugins.

So that's why all plugins are recognized in cracked ProTools.

Yes, sadly there's no way for you to do get them working on legit PT at the moment.

 

With this, I have to use the cracked version of Pro Tools.

Yes, I've used that for a long time. You can also use the Ultimate 2021.7 or something from R2R.

 

If you're referring to a newer cracked version, I wouldn't hold my breath, I highly doubt we'll ever see one......you might consider another DAW if you can't make due with 12.5

 

That's the nature of the beast unfortunately. There is the 2021.7 R2R "crack" that would allow those with a legit PT license to run ALL plugins on the legit DAW. I do not believe that R2R solution will work on subsequent versions though.

The only other recourse would be to have access to a PT-First license (which have not existed for three+ years) along with a copy of 2021.7. The R2R solution + the PT-First license would allow a fully working 2021.7 DAW. Unfortunately the PT-First licenses (which were free, btw) were shit-canned by avid almost as fast as they appeared in response to the R2R solution in 2021...

I still run PT 12.5HD as well. It will run pretty much anything you throw at it - plugin wise. Unless there is a problem with the plugin itself...

Yeah, this crack works on the version it’s designed for. Obviously, you can’t use it on newer versions, like you mentioned. Gotta wait and see what happens...
I’m working with Logic for now, but Pro Tools is on another level.

 

Can use older version with trial for use k'd plugins ??
2019 up 2021 vers ?
