Distorted Sound Problem

    OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

    Sound Card: Scarlett 18i20

    Problem: Sometimes when i listen to music (or am gaming) the sound will go really distorted (like unrecognizable distorted) and when i quit the song (or game) and start it again it is fine.

    Problems started: when i done a fresh install.

    Although it is not a major problem any help would be greatly appreciated :wink:

    Edit:Forgot to add it don't happen much.

    I had a similar problem when my mixcontrol kept saying to update.. even though i was on the latest update. The beta updates are stable and i would recommend stick with those than the ones on the original website.

    My problem was on live. The sound would just crash, i would need to re-config the audio interface on the settings (on live). After i updated, the problem went away.
