Hello guys. I've set up this quickly with some piano instruments I have installed. Same midi file (Final Fantasy XIII - Lightning's theme).
All are dry signals (no reverb) from players position. Signal peaks adjusted to approx. -1~2db.

Thanks for the response I thought Alicias Keys where somewhat decent :/ To be honest Imperfect samples don't sound very clean (like recording issues). Ivory II would probably be better (all regards to Fazioli pianos). EZkeys has some nice tools for a newbie like me :p What do you think about this guy's reviews? http://www.vpiano.net/imperfect%20samples%20fazioli%20review.htm Kinda old but goes into technical details.

 

He's a little harsh towards this library, sometime numbers don't equate to sound I have heard the Fazioli in person and they are pretty damn close at capturing the full sound but to some it sounds low & dark but they sampled one of the oldest version of them. you read more at their site lol

 

a Giga library still beats that muffled Kontakt sound by miles but out of this bunch the Ivory 1 stands out clearly...next best Vienna Grand *yes*
