    Thanks @twoheart for thinking along,

I'm at 204% now, except for the Nexus 5 all plugins and websites are easy to read at 204%, as my eyesight is getting worse, I'll probably be at 205% or 206% in 2 years. I have a 16:9 resolution, I actually need 4:3 but I'll save that. Some buttons and as you said the fonts could be bigger.

no, sorry. :dunno: But that would make a lot of sense. I use this frequently in Kontakt. It reduces the count of instances I would need otherwise.
    Or:
I haven't got a mousewheel so I cant't test it? But can't you resize the tree in the routing section using the mousewheel?

OK, grabbed a mouse from the basement. Yes this is a function of the mousewheel: it resizes the tree while in the routing section. that's handy.
    Or use these:

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you..... Thank you @twoheart for going into the basement and finding out about the mouse wheel. Man, I hadn't even thought of that. Now you can work with it. You saved me.

Oh yes, and Nexus 5 only has an online manual, which is also incomplete, they saved the money for a PDF manual.

Nah. It's work in progress, hopefully. It's not Nexus 5, I think it's a whole new instrument, a synth based on the Nexus 4 ~ rompler. sort of. So they should've called it maybe Nexus X v 1.0 ? :dunno:

Inside the channels do most likely have their I/Os so that it will be not too complicated to lead them out individually.

p.s.: I hope and assume that in the near future they will bring more frequent updates (than in the past) with such useful additions.
We've already noticed that they couldn't finish the plugin for Black Friday and that they managed to finish it at the last minute before Christmas sales. Perhaps not quite as complete as it should be. Thus we can still expect a lot to come

I think we all lost context here,

I want as well to buy REFX NEXUS 5, but I want to take all the expansions I made or edited or have, and move it to the legit !
    Can we do that ?
Can I make one big folder, with all presets and samples, move to original ? will it work ?
please help us guys.. you are smart :D
Someone understands how the nxs,ned files or licensing work ?

Here is an original text from "GeraNews":

But thanks to an open architecture, Nexus now also has comprehensive capabilities for importing and editing your own samples. The ROMpler thus becomes a sampler in a way.

Nexus 5 can import single and multisamples as well as entire libraries. You then have the option of editing samples extensively, slicing them, adding loops and crossfades and much more. The whole thing can then be combined with other so-called "generators" such as virtual analog oscillators, wavetables and granular and FM synthesis. Then add a few of the many integrated effects and the new sound is ready. If you don't just want to use the presets, you can use Nexus 5 to program your own sounds from your own samples.

I think I still missing an answer, open architecture, doesn't mean the load of previous expansion don't go to their license system, I don't think they were so naive to remove completley the licensing protection..

I had a similar question about REFX Nexus 5.
I had a K'd version of Nexus 3 with all the expansions.

If I bought the smallest Nexus 5 footprint, would all the k'd expansions work with a legit / bought Nexus 5 VST?

(Apologies if this has been asked as just skipped through the posts)

Agreed. I don't think you can import one of the old expansions you don't own according to their licensing scheme.

Of course you can import your user presets and samples.
But I would be careful trying to import a whole k'd expansions as they may recognize it.

Yes, I see it the same way!!! My old Nexus 2 (*.FXP) presets aren't displayed in the purchased version. I've attached a picture where there is no "Import2 option", today everything is done via the " software from reFX: reFX Cloud, which means to me that if you've bought something v2, v3, v4 then it's stored in the cloud at reFX and then it shows up when you install it.

A user here in the forum has installed the old version 4 and the new version 5 next to each other and he says he can use both.
Now it's the case that some users have a purchased version and others have a cracked version...

If you bought all your expansions from reFX, you can also use all the expansions in Nexus 5. reFX also attaches great importance to this. Your "old" expansions will then also appear in the reFX installation software - the reFX Cloud and you can then install them.

Ohh it's actually wonderful solution, working with both of the versions together, so smart, however I guess doing it incorrectly can ban you, I would love to understand how this can be done .. I think that if V.R or someone will break there "licensing system" allowing us to run old expansions on original one, well, their sales gonna go huge in this context.

    tnx

Yeah, but lol, if you bought all the old expansions, where is the problem ? we are speaking about real problems of using (non bought expansions" on original one bypassing their system hehe.

So I tested it: with the N5 alone you won't bypass their auth system. I tested it with a k'd expansion.
N5 finds the Expansion. But as soon as you try to load a preset, it complains because the preset is not authorized.
Also, if I try to load a preset from a k'd expansion it would recognize it as not auth'd neither samples from .nxs filse could be sideloaded

So the only way atm to use k'd expansions is to load them into an older k'd version and export them preset by preset. But really, thats a huge amount of work.

p.s.: IMHO, if I value my working time at just $10, a complete expansion will cost me at least $100. That makes just no sense to me. :dunno:
The expansions are too cheap

Can you buy only expansions and use them with cracked Nexus 5 by VR?

You can only make your own presets, the expansions that you always see are created by the reFX Nexus team themselves with an image, and then provided with copy protection etc. You can also make presets and advertise your presets there, if they need them you will get a share of the proceeds. It's the same with UVI - Falcon.
